2nd part testing the diff on a smooth twisty country road. Engine & diff set to Cupra & ESC off. PS4S tires. I did notice that with the diff in Cupra mode the car is alot more difficult to handle & unpredictable. The car was pulling side to side quite aggressively when accelerating hard round corners! I put this down to the road been wet & greasy. It was alot of fun!😎

Just testing out the exhaust for leaks as I have just fitted it from using the DDM Fast Pipe. I have also recently just afew tanks ago changed 2 stroke oil from Castrol XR77 to Castrol A747 which is a part synthetic part castor based oil. The car also has Dark Soul axle extenders all round, Hostile MXT Rear Tires, Hostile 19/55 gear combo and Outerwears air filter and pulls tart cover. The car ...

Just fitted this pipe and test running it for leaks. Also switched from Castrol XR77 to Castrol A747 2 stroke oil just few tanks previous. So far so good!

Was testing out the pipe for leaks as I had just installed it. Was previously using a DDM Fast Pipe. Similar power gains although I would say the Victory pipe is more snappy and responsive!

Just installed Victory RC Big Bore side mount pipe and checking that the rubber coupling isn't leaking. Which it was! Hostile MXT rear tires

Did you do this yourself? This has happened to my right headlight on cupra 290 and is throwing up fault codes
Man I have the exact same engine but in the Baja 5b and something about these engines they run crazy fast

Thinking of getting one of these soon. In gear pull looks quick. Do you use normal diesel or premium eg v power or bp ultimate??
It was a quick car standard and good on the motorway with the torque. When i had it remapped it was a real quick car totally transformed it. I got 150 mph out of it. I used to only use BP Ultimate diesel tried the other premium diesels but the BP seems more responsive and more power. I did want the DSG but ended up getting the manual thats why i only kept it for 2 years had it been dsg i would of had it longer. I once drove down to Skegness and averaged 60 mpg. Its the same engine thats in the Golf 7 GTD. VW has better quality cabin
@@peterbennpan7288 cheers for that. Yeh I'm thinking about a dsg version. I've heard the economy drops by 5MPG with a dsg tho...but I suppose with a map it would improve on that. I do a lot of miles but like my speed so something that can do 60MPG on a run but a bit of power sounds like a good compromise. Yes the golf gtd is nice but its usually £1-2k more to buy for essentially the same car.
mrmogish i would say you get better mpg with a DSG??? But with good mpg anyway what would afew mpg either way matter? If your doing alot of miles then DSG would be better for you espesh in stop start traffic. My leg used to ache with the manual in traffic i found the clutch to be abit stiff but they always are with diesel. I would also advise to get the 5 door over the 3 as my FR was a 3 door and the door cards used to vibrate and was really annoying. I had bits of card wedged in the door trim to stop it. I have a 5 door Cupra ST and not rattles in the doors. The doors a a fair bit smaller in the 5 doors. Make sure you get the DSG fluid changes at 40.000 miles
where did you buy this 20t pinion? can you get the link?
I got it off Ebay and it said it was for the HPI Flux but not made by HPI it was an unbranded one. I had a 19t pinion on it before and never had any problems. After installing the 20t pinion after afew runs out with it my ECS started smoking and burnt out so i think it had something to do with the 20t pinion. I had the 19t in for ages doing high speed runs and never had a problem until i installed the 20t pinion. So i advise you not to get it unless you are going to upgrade your esc and motor

Hey Peter, is it really just the middle resonator that you deleted? Sounds awesome!
Yes its just the middle silencer that is deleted!..... if you get it done make sure the piece of pipe you replace the resonator with is the same size bore as the oem exhaust

Yes stock. Im changing the engine ready for this summer..... undecided on the Zenoah G290 or the 320RC engine though?

I have just got a new engine for this that I need to install its a Zenoah G320. I think I will be switching back to Castrol XR77 fully synthetic. I find that I got a little bit more power using that oil over the A747 the car seemed to be more responsive and more free revving?...
@@peterbennpan7288 yes A747 seemse to give "extra power" to the engine!
What oil are you using for your mix?
Castrol A747 @ 25/1 but I will be switching back to XR77 i find its a better oil for the engine. This engine is coming out I've just bought a Zenoah G320

In cold weather conditions for a diesel it s normal, let it warm up a bit and the engine should sound happy, mine does the same in winter and after 2-3 min cames back to normal

26cc CY fuelie engine. This engine is coming out i have a Zenoah G320 to go in it. I will also be changing the pipe to a DDM fast pipe as this Victory pipe doesn't allow the Kraken cage to fit

2.0 tdi 184hp is a good engine ? i mean....someone told me that if i want to remap my leon , after 100.000km the engine will be dead.... Is it true ?
Not true at all.. Very strong engines. My brother had one and did 200.000km with it on stage 2. Just warm it u before you floor it and change oil every 15k.. Very very fast and reliable

Hey,,, you sure it uses ZF auto not the Asin? that's different from what I found.
Not to sure. Maybe you know more than me? It did have 8 speed auto

Yes things like that is what worrys me. I have put it back on now, the cage weighs it down abit. It will still do 50mph top speed with it on though just not as agile. Once the power starts to drop off with this engine i will be looking to upgrade to a Zenoah G320rc or the O’Neil Brothers modded one? Will do abit more research before i decide. 😎
Should use the cage. Your frame will bend easily without it.

Can someone give me an insite on what they think about the tune? I have noticed there is excess oil coming from the pipe so does that indicate the piston rings need changing? I have about 20 tanks through it maybe more I don't do WOT for long periods of time and it still rips . When it is time to change the rings I am looking to upgrade the engine to maybe a Zenoah G290RC engine
