    What's the difference between process control and process optimization?

      It is as simple as it sounds control vs optimization as it relates to processes. Ie a system can be in control and very reliable but not optimized in regards to yield or something

    It is a very good course. It would be better if instead of spending so much time on computations, coding in R (which is a free software ) was given. As no one is likely to do these computations by hand.

      In DOE you try to control (experiment with) as much variables as possible so that you achieve the desired outcome, in regression analysis you try to predict something based on the variables you are given over time
