NomadarWhat Homestead
Добавлен 23 окт 2010
My family and I decided we wanted to pursue a life of freedom and “modern” self-sufficiency. So, we purchased 30 acres of raw land, sold our house in the city and moved up in the mountains in the hill towns of Western Massachusetts. In hopes and in order to build our future off grid-Homestead. We have no formal background in agriculture, farming, homesteading, off grid living or gardening, construction, plumbing or electrical. We are self-taught and I believe that a "Jack of all trades is better than a master of one" this is the NomadarWhat Homestead way. Now despite our desire to break free from the matrix, we still do enjoy and require modern day luxuries, so our goal is to integrate those luxuries and convivences into our homestead (hence modern self-sufficiency). We would like to share our journey and show people how possible it can be to find your freedom and still enjoy the comforts of life, so stay tuned and watch us build our paradise on our journey to NomadarWhat Homestead!

Another day working the Kubota KX030
Просмотров 4012 часов назад
Me and J.A.G taking advantage of the good weather and trying to fix the main road. Trenching out the sides and building the road up with the debris from the trenches. Would definitely be easier if I had a load of gravel or something dropped off, however we live on a non maintained road and it’s difficult trying to get things delivered to the property. So although it make take more work and time...

A day working with my lady on the Homestead. Im dropping trees digging up rocks and leveling out the hill. My plan is to clear up the area to help allow for more sunlight to penetrate through. During our work session, we had two moments of a quick adrenaline rush but we survived the day lol. Journey to NomadarWhat Homestead, Stay Tuned!

Another day on the homestead. I had some issues with the new Kubota KX030 we just bought so it’s in the shop. Luckily I was provided a rental so I was able to continue working on the homestead getting prepared for the winter. Journey to NomadarWhat Homestead stay tuned!

Taking a walk thru the homestead to review the work I’ve been doing with the new Kubota KX030 we got. I was fortunate to have it rain so I was able to see what areas need work and what areas are holding up. Thanks for tuning in!

Thank you for both the advice and the support. I agree 100% that a skid steer would be way more effective and efficient. I hope to be able to rent one soon to help get things done.
Hello brother doing a great job always happy too see a family building a homestead off the grid but can I give you a little advise it would be a little easier if you use a skid loader to level that area But as I mentioned, when I first started the comet, you’re doing a great job. Congratulations.
The kx030-4 looks like a great little machine for its size , great vid ✌️💯💪
Thanks 👍
Definitely is great addition and handles pretty much any job I try and throw at it… you always need a bigger excavator but the Kx030 is still a beast
This just came up on my suggested, read that other comment, and wanted to say how much of a joke mb is. I bought my tractor from them and it was a nightmare. I went to Chappel and it was amazing.
Thanks for sharing… I know how it can be with dealing with retailers, hit or miss. And honestly if it wasn’t for the sales person going out of his way for me, I probably would not have had a good experience. The manager originally did not want to discuss the issues I was having nor did he want to provide me with a rental while they made the repairs. Regardless of the fact it had been a few days of owning it.
Good to hear they supplied you with a rental this time. they should for the $ and how your new unit is constantly having problems
I was lucky to have the support of the salesman lol. He pretty said screw what the manager said I’m getting you a rental.

Sadly I’m new to this lifestyle and a stranger to firepower but, I’ll get me a boom stick 💥 soon enough 😂
