I think the drawer pouches are one of the most overlooked Hobonichi items. With all of the unboxings I’ve watched, you rarely see people get the drawer pouch, and if they do, they get the small pen case sized one. I was searching high and low for something that would work for my EDC (A6 Compact Sterling Ink) to keep it from getting messed up in my purse, plus hold some planner supplies…while also not overstuffing my purse. I started looking at things like Moterm covers that could also be used as a wallet (to reduce bulk/weight I was carrying around) and wallets that weren’t actually designed to hold a planner, but would be able to. Then, I stumbled on someone unboxing the Ane size and I was like…here is my solution!!!! Tons of pockets, a zipper pocket for change, will hold the planner, credit cards, cash, etc. Wallet and planner carrier in one! (My ‘boring black’ arrives on the 11th, yay!)

Enjoyed this video! The smaller vertical one (like the smaller lace one) is just called the Small Drawer Pouch. The larger one you have is the Drawer Pouch Ane - and it’s the only one that uses the “Ane” name. Ane means “big sister.” And the little one is the Drawer Pouch Pocket! The large lace one you have is just called the Large Drawer Pouch. So that midsized accordion one is the only one called “Ane”! No big deal, just thought that might clear things up when you’re ordering next time.

Love your website and videos but it has been my experience that Hobonichi refers only to the mid-sized pouch as the “ane” which translates as “older sister” which could have led to your confusion thinking you were buying one and not the other…I did the same thing LOL. However, I am happy to have both an “ane” and a small pouch in the plaid plastic as a result!

The way I envision the monthly tracker list working would be to list any recurring tasks that happen at a less than daily cadence and essentially schedule them on the intended day in the left most column and then track completion to my intended plan in the daily tracker. My daily items I would add to the next column and also track completion in the habit tracker section. Not sure if it would eventually be too much all in one tracker and I may disregard the dates on the left completely, but I"m seriously considering this option for 2025 for this feature alone. I work in a manufacturing environment and I have been looking for ages for a planner that would allow me to track my leader standard work and this seems like the perfect solution. We'll see if I hit add to cart today... haha. Thanks for the great review!

Love the lineup, I also got the A6, I have an undated TN standard with the same layout and I got the weekly notebook that I’m currently using and I love for EDC. Still thinking if I should get the A5 slim, also love the layout but don’t know how I would use it 😂. I still like the weeks and considering it but with the weekly I wouldn’t need it…

where are the mini dots markers from?

I believe the TSL utility pouch has a nylon lining 🤔which is kinda flimsy if you ask me. I have a few things from TSL and they are made so well-but that pouch seems so expensive for what they chose to make it with on the inside....

So sad the Hobonichi is out of stock but just for your info the website specifies that the “small” (as your video titles described this) does NOT hold the Hobonichi Weeks but the Ane does
