Do you think it would be ok to place carpet tiles over my existing carpet, in order to retain the cushiony-ness?
@@umairidrees7291 no, I’m not sure that the tiles would stick to carpet that well.
So glad you provided an update! Why didn't you leave it in sand?
Sand doesn’t have as much nutrients as the soil does. It’ll grow better in soil.
@@oureverything9668 You would have to fertilize though. I just found a great medium from another channel that I think I am going to stick too. It has Peatmoss, charcoal, Pumice, Perlite and Course sand. I had a hard time finding the right sand so I omitted it. In two weeks some of my plants had roots growing straight down out of the pots. Finally found a good sand (quikrete all purpose) and the plants are loving it.

Honestly, I don’t remember off top of my head. I’d still check to make sure it’s the same temp either way.

That was the dad, because I took the eggs away, they thought that the baby was not theirs. I put the baby in there to see if they would accept the baby and my assumptions were correct.
I would have more incubators one for the eggs and another for the chick
its not right to feed it that much at once if you do that the food will go to the lungs. slowly feed it lil by lil
Very good. Although as an experienced flooring pro I’d suggest to turn the tiles so they run horizontal. That way you go against the nap . If anyone else is going to do this ,if you have access to an electric or Pneumatic gun it will sink the staples in all the way. Also spreading some glue on the top of the tread will keep the tile down and stop from bubbling. These are not criticisms just trying to help you did an excellent job

Yes, I keep them in there at the same temp so they can be warm until their feathers start to come in.

Yes, I went on with the tiles to the hallway and nailing the staples in - you won’t be able to see them, at least we didn’t. Looks nice and clean and easy to replace if need be.
