Unfortunately no. It is a bit glitchy. We have been using DaVinci Resolve a lot more. Which is my way of saying this is probably a less glitchy solution though far from perfect. I am hopeful that with Blackmagic's NAB announcement they mentioned that they would be putting more resources into their cut page. I also posted a message on their message board on improving their multicam. I find it odd that they have world class switchers yet the multicam feature in DaVinci is terrible. Sorry this is a tangent.

I agree with you hopefully this can be fixed as it is very time consuming to have to wait hours for a 13 min video to bounce from Final Cut Pro plus the glitching effects and other errors. It is worth having for super simple projects but if you want fast render times, I think Davinci Resolve seems faster for a final export (I haven't done side by side export tests). In terms of rendering effects on the fly, FCPX is still faster and better at that. In my opinion, Davinci is kind of bad at rendering effects on the fly. Hopefully that makes sense.

Maybe a blessing in disguise but I really like Davinci Resolve now because the BRAW plugin sort of exposed me/us to using BRAW in the first place. You may consider checking out Davinci Resolve. Again, the cut page and multicam are bad but there is a lot of great things in there. Plus, I think the Davinci team is much faster at implementing changes and requests.

Same here, I was going to open a request in their forums and see if it's possible to add a Paid Upgrade/License to install Prores in the new cameras. I know Panasonic does this and avoid extra costs to some users and I'll be more than happy to pay whatever for the License and keep working with Prores most of the times. On top of that, many of my clients request Prores when I have to deliver the rushes, most of the agencies and big brands require that. I was in contact already with the support team and the encouraged me to open that request. However, I asked in a Blackmagic forum and I was about to get killed by the fanboys.

Agreed. I did happen across one of Sam Kolder's videos and he apparently has a bunch of keyboard shortcuts that help speed up editing. The full list is behind a paywall which I haven't gotten around to paying yet. But with the examples he showed, it seemed really interesting. I am not sure if I understand your question fully but I just did some tests. If you shoot BRAW and apply the LUT to the file (in the 3rd menu of the Record menu of the Blackmagic Pocket 4K), then the LUT is applied in FCPX. But you can easily turn it off by going into the BRAW Toolbox effect or plugin and change the setting on LUT Source from embedded to disabled. Hopefully that helps.
