thanks for letting me know the times! I had 7 pm for Monday which is what made me think I missed it!! Only to find it later in the evening! I have updated my reminders and fingers crossed, I’ll be able to join!! And I am loving this ephemera eating concept!! too bad I can’t jump in and join now. My “needs to be completed ASAP” list is very long. I’ve over committed again this year!! Grrrr. I set up goals for 2024 and they fly out the window about the middle of February. So now I’m behind on my Christmas crafty gifts, Christmas cards, gift card holders, etc. This idea just seems so freeing. Hope you had an awesome day and that your Turkey day is filled with delicious food and cheerful family!
Thanks for the kind words. I hope you can make it live soon and all your behind lists get caught up quickly (like magic) tee hee. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Soon I hope to make a schedule on Tuesday to be live too.
Joy, I am so sorry I missed you live!!! What days/times do you do the lives?? I have remembers set, but I keep missing you!
@@TwilaSue I am 7:30p Monday and 3p Thursday CST. I missed you tonight!
What a fantastic journal. I love it! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much. I appreciate you watching.
Gorgeous!
@@lazydaisybookart474 Thank you so much! I appreciate you watching!
I think I would charge double the cost of materials. I have made and sold different crafts over the years and I always went double unless you went less on something big. I always sold at craft fairs.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I find it very helpful when setting prices. It probably works out to the 40% I mentioned. It’s an easy way for sure. I appreciate you watching!
Hi joy love your little fabric snippets hope your having a good week see you on your next video ❤❤❤
@@mcuttercreations hello! Thanks for dropping in!
Hey Joy and friends! Sorry I missed you live. Happy the video is available for replay! Counting blessings!! And the items I ordered are absolutely amazing! My mother-in-law was a tea drinker and the tea bags remind me of her when I see them in my journal!! Thank you for sharing your talents!!!
@@TwilaSue ahh, glad you came and love the items you purchased. Thanks for watching!
Whoever buys this stuff? In Italy nobody. I'm pretty sure. Unfortunately.
Interesting. Please tell me more about your culture. Are junk journals you write in popular in Italy? These type of journals are the desired here in US. The more work, the more desired.
This is WONDERFUL!! I just love all the layers and little extras you incorporated...I'm a huge Tim Holtz fan and this is right up my alley..however I've never considered using fabric like this. I certainly will now!!! Thank you for sharing this..truly enjoyed!!😁
Thank you so much! I truly appreciate it and appreciate you watching!
Gorgeous postcards! 💜 I have had that ephemera book in my cart and ordered it yesterday. How fortunate to come across this video.

Thank you so much for doing a flip-through of the journal. I’m so, so happy you like it. It means a lot! You were my inspiration!! ❤. P.s. That round brass piece that looks like a coin is a vintage surveyor tag. I just love vintage things.

Your distressing is great! How do u make your rust water?
Thank you. I used vinegar and water 1/2 and 1/2. Some add salt. Some also do 1/2 peroxide and 1/2 water with salt. Let sit until what you want. I think I gave everything a baking soda bath after too.
I LOVE it!!

With regards to the Sari silk you got from a thrift store for 10 cents, I agree with Rhoda Burks who said to mark it as what it would cost you to replace it! That that thrift store find was your "woo hoo" moment and a saving boost for you. But to replace it would be the cost to log in. I was not surprised at the cost being higher than you thought. I went through this process with my quilts as I told you before. But with quilts the costs are a lot higher and I just felt that people would not pay what a quilt is really worth unless a big name was attached to it. And that is why I just decided not to sell any of my quilts. I would rather give them away to trusted family members. But this is a very interesting and well needed discussion. Thank you so much!
Thanks again. I understand what you mean clearer. I appreciate you watching!
