So you have a breast concern? How to prepare for your first consultation with your doctor
I have an MRI detected breast mass that for over a year has been stable at 7mm, at my last interval check up on mri it’s grown in all demensions to 10x6x9mm, enhancement has also increased. Can this be malignancy or benignity?
Fibroadenoma mine changes apperience and doctor's don't take it seriously, they just left it untreated
mine unfortunately does sometimes disappear and reappear, this is why doctor's think I am imagining it. I'm just the rarely part and they don't care
Morning my name is Stephinah Simelane i have a lamp can you help me im in South Africa
Hallow morning im in south Africa how can i come to you where are located
Sure enough, feeling how it began to shrink and eventually disappear within 2 months was so liberating. I followed the steps I mentioned, and within the first 2 weeks the bloating was gone. I simply go'ogled Tilly Strankten's Ovarian Cyst Guide and it's like I hit the feel-good reset button lol.
For my fibroadenoma I only got a follow up after 6 months but you said there should have been two more follow ups? I had every check at the time (so the scans and biopsy) and it all came back fine. It hadn't grown in the 6 month check up perid so I think they ended the investigation at that point. The problem with mine is that it's a large one and it's hard to tell if it's grown or not by feeling it. I have recently noticed that i can see part of the lump externally now though it doesn't feel like it's changed should I go and get it rechecked?
Useful one
Could you provide more information concerning a benign Phyllodes tumor measuring 5.3 cm. What treatment would you recommend?
I'm thinking about getting a breast reduction because I feel like im carrying weights on my chest and my back hurts all the time and my breast make it kind of hard to breathe due to the feeling of carrying weights on my chest
Does cancer show up on under arm fat tissue?
I’m so curious about breastfeeding after breast reduction. I’m pregnant with my third and hope to have another baby someday. I’m 32 and I have nursed my two oldest. I’m a 36i right now, but when I nurse I go up to a 36K, though the last time my bras felt too small in the cup. I was spilling out a lot.
I was diagnosed at 12 years old. I'm 30 now and had surgery twice.
How i wish i could afford it. Extra ordinary big breasts are a total shame, neck , back and chest pain. You must put on bra all days of your life. The brs straps even leave marks on shouldes as of you carry a gun. I dint know how i can thank anyone who can sponsor me i these 2 big things are rediced😭😭😭😭 If someone eould just come out of no where abd susdenly cut them off maybe, i bleed, taken to hospiral and maybe, i dont know
Now im 30years old.birads3 surgically removed.....is it safe?
I have white discharge like things staying on my nipples...and in the areola region of one breast there is outgroeing of nipples like things...I am scared..
Very usefully . God bless you and the team ❤very well explain 💌
I have fibrystic breast but one is more than the other. I am 50 but on hrt so maybe the estrogen is causing this?
I am 32 yo, no kids but planning to have one before 35. Always had big breast (75E/F) and as I. Am identical to my mom I know that during the pregnancy it will grow so much more. That is my fear. As I know that the bigger the size the less chance to have aesthetic small results, but on the other hand if I cut it now till B/C cup, will it grow back and get saggy as preop?
Can this become cancerous?
Biopsies can seed and spread cancer!
Mammograms can cause cancer and should be avoided. Thermography and ultrasound are much safer.
Thanks for the video, does a patient with breast nass need radiation? Please tx
In considering breast reduction surgery. I am disabled with thoracic scoliosis and honestly I get so much pain in my shoulders and neck. I'm a 36J (uk). But I am 30 and I do worry about loss of sensation or memory pain.
Please do a video on having breast lumps appear during pregnancy!
Lumps in the breast during pregnancy are mostly commonly mastitis.

Can mastalgia last for 5 Months?
Hi I'm a male 56 yr old i have spontaneous bloody Nipple discharge and an inverted Nipple with a tumour under it advice please
I have pain in breast from 20 years
This was a very helpful video thank you.
What about cryoablation for fibroadenomas?
Hi doctor. I’m a 23 year old dentist from Kerala. I do have mastalgia and dense breast ,mild to moderate during my periods. But on certain months that is when I’m on my vacay and I when I eat a lot of junk I feel the pain is so severe mostly at an area few days before the menstruation and the pain resolves after the period now I’m on my 5th day of period. The area is lumpy I can feel two lumps that is most painful before the period. I feel these are features of fibrocystic disease but I have a history of breast cancer in my family and I’m worried.
Have yourself tested , if only for your own peace of mind. Lumps are not always malignant and pains often have hormonal causes. History does not always repeat itself. Stay positive!
Mam apke lumps theek hue plzz rep
@@shallyarora2217hey , I consulted a surgeon and she adviced me to get an ultrasound Done. I got the scan and my results said it was just hormonal lumps that are completely normal.
I was asked to take evening primrose capsules if the pain is unbearable
@@drafnanazar apke lumps theek hue h kya medicine se
I had my sonomammogram a week ago they found 2 lumps and one of it is 4cm and suspiciously for malignancy. Then the surgeon told me that it is more than 50% cancer, I started to get paranoid, sad and worried.
Wow any update?
Biopsy is the key
Ladies-Wonderful video… I am 67 and was recently diagnosed with DCIS grade 2 in my left breast. In and of itself I would consider lumpectomy. BUT!! Here is where it gets complicated; prior to my diagnosis a genetic counselor I saw this June put me at a 35% risk of developing cancer. I guess that is a mute point now. I have been diagnosed in the past after tissue biopsy with ADH in my right breast. I also carry a very strong family history having two sister and a paternal aunt with invasive cancer. My younger sister was diagnosed at 45 then deceased at 53 from metastatic cancer. I carry VUS gene mutation as well as my older sister that was recently diagnosed with invasive breast cancer last year. Prior to my diagnosis I had already been considering simple bi-lateral mastectomy choosing to go flat. I know you cannot make this decision for me so I am just looking at it from a clinical stand point. Given the many risk factors that motivate treatment choice.
So l’m 81 and have a lump. So not malignant? Seems you skipped a large segment of women over 50. Having my biopsy later today.
I have back pain, lower back pain, neck pain also. I sweat a lot under my breast, also I get itch under too. It bothers me. I'm 5 feet tall and I wear a 34 DD bra. I feel like my breast is too big
There are several ways to improve your situation. First: strengthen your back muscles by exercising. Second: try to lose breast weight by targeted exercises. Third: surgery; my less favorite because they may come out looking unnatural, and when you have a childwish, it is possible that you won’t be able to breastfeed
You can’t expect someone to just stop smoking!
I’m 37 and just had mine done six days ago.
How was it? How are you doing now?
Who long did it take for them to be bealed
Which one is the most effective and accurate tool to use when assessing a breast mass, ultrasound or biopsy?
thanks allot for that, pls where are u now,how can I get to u?
Is it possible to do breast reduction while having a pacemaker?
After breast reduction how soon can you fly on a plane ?
At least 3 to 7 days after
What difference between cyst and mass. I had breast cyst for many years, my breast ultrasound before is cyst, just go for new ultrasound yesterday but ultrasound printed out is mass.
Thanks for this information. I didn't know monthly breast self exams were not recommended by the American Cancer Society. It makes sense.
Am looking forward to do it,the info I got here makes me feel very optimistic and can't wait to have it.
I feel a lump in my left breast and some pain in the armpit. Iam closing to my menopose. What could this be? The pain is off and on.
I have consultant appointment in July 19th, I really hope they say yes to the surgery because I am in pain. When i lay down they move up to my neck and i can breathe, they are in my face. I have shoulder, back and neck pain, my posture is all messed up from it. i was 260 lbs, and I am now 200 lbs. i lost so much weight and it still hurts. I hope i can qualify. If i wear a proper bra (if i can even find it in my size) i feel like im being choked, and its tight and it hurts from all the weight Update: they said i just need to lose 10 more lbs, and i can get the surgery!
Hope you were able to get the surgery done! I can't wait to do mine soon
