Hes not very strong. Ha he's fun but he's pretty weak tbh unless you have perfect execution all the time. I like what they did with him though. They made him like S1 t7. Sad tho there's not a real reward to having excellent execution like back in the day (ttt2 and before). Now you have to have great execution to compete with the top tier levels.

I have a tekken king kuma, and also main king. When kuma is on the ground, UF 3+4 is OP or F4 when he does the 1+2 wakeup

Extra Note: king has a unique grab available when behind back turned opponents by inputting (B , F 1+2 ) So after DF 1 on wake up this a good option like giant swing.
