Phenomenal PA! ❤

It’s wild you said that. I was playing basketball and jumped for the ball, landed, and thought someone landed on me. Turned around and it was just me… Full tendon rupture.
Man, I am so sorry about that
Just turned 26 and have my TKR scheduled for December 10th. I honestly can’t wait. The pain is horrendous. I hope I can go back to living life like a guy my age should. Nervous though!
I hope it goes well! We want you to be pain free as well. Let us know if you have any questions.
Helpful, yes. Thank you
Thank you for this video!!!! I’m week 3 post op, partial weight bearing for another month, then getting into PT, wish me luck
We wish you the best of luck!
Can Edema ? From damage to blood vessels from a blood cloth thank you for your time
Ugh, frozen sholder... a few years ago... much better now.
Great job Doc I'm getting ready for my knee replacement in November in AR.
She is tops.
I have mine booked for Nov 11th. I'm 56 and very active. I'm hoping I can get back to the things that give me joy!
You're 4 days PO. How are you feeling? I'm scheduled for January 10th.
@kevinpowers9024 it's been rough. Best advice is even when you don't think you need your pain meds, take them! Once the pain comes it can get really bad. Also get yourself an ice machine.
@@darrenbarlow5759 Yes, I will have an ice machine. I plan on taking the meds as directed for sure. How long did your pain block last? Is the swelling really bad?
@@darrenbarlow5759 How are you feeling?
@Posmc sleep has been tough. Not because of pain. It's almost like one leg has restless leg syndrome. The knee is swollen, stiff and doesn't want to bend but im doing the exercises. Day 14 and no narcotics, walker or cane
My 18 year old son has his right foot going numb, several times every day for ten minutes at a time. This happens as he walks as well. He just had bloods done, short of vitamin D and Folic Acid but still the numbness exists.
Does b 12 or b1 help?
Dr. Wright has replaced both my knees 3 years apart. I have fully recovered and have my active life back. I highly recommend if you need replacement surgery you seek out Dr. Wright at Plano Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Surgery. They are the best!

Hi I hope you are good and doing well. I am a patient of Hip joint from last 15 years. I want to share my whole physical position with orthopedic surgeon. Please give me any platform like email or other.... Thanks Kind regards MUHAMMED ARSLAN
The ball of my left foot and the toes are numb and burn at night. In the right foot it is the same. The lower part of my back also aches. What can I do, please? Thank you🙏
How do I know I have nerve damage both of them are numb all the time
After the betadine solution, you say you wash the knee with a gallon of fluid. What is the fluid that you use?
Thank you May God Bless you ruclips.net/video/2MkpMxUR7hI/видео.htmlsi=6ifVpg5eQqt60paC
It could be sitting down to long
Hello Dr.Wright. I had total 0:04 hip replacement surgery this past May 2nd, 2024. I’m 63 years old. I’m in good health otherwise. I have never smoked, I don’t drink, I am not even pre-diabetic and my blood pressure is very stable. I was walking 3 to 5 miles between January 2022 till October 2022. I stopped walking simply because I became a little busier as a substitute teacher. I am a retired teacher. Stopped teaching at 54. I’ve always done some form of exercise. As a young child, teen and young adult I took dance lessons. Moving has ALWAYS been part of the way I lived. The surgery went very well. The worst of my pains are gone. But, in the last few weeks I began having more pain on the side…I have bursitis. I’m on my second round of physical therapy. I need to mention that my right hip was and is hurting A LOT. as a matter of fact the left one was done first because it hurt more and it was bone on bone. I would like to be able to walk a few miles again. I’m content with at least 3. My HUGE worry is ( after watching reports on CBS about replacement “hardware “ breaking or corroding inside the body) how can I know what kind of implant my surgeon used? I’m scared of being a walking time bomb. I know it’s only been 3 months since my implant but I’m concerned for the not so far future. Are my fears unrealistic? Thank you for your patience in reading this 🙏 Looking forward to hearing from you.
Wow, my middle toe on my left foot, underneath it slightly numb. It happened afte a twist both toes by it.
RIP Leslie West
thank you for the video. it was very informative and your calm voice and matter of fact descriptions were very reassuring. I am having bilateral knee replacements using the mako robot next week in Australia!
I’m 39yr old and I’m booked in for the robotic knee replacement surgery in 9-12 months , I will be my surgeons youngest patient … my knee has been like this since 14yr old and I’ve already had an osteotomy , full acl reconstruction and meniscus pads trimmed , I’ve got end stage osteoarthritis at 39 and it’s awful
We hope you have a successful surgery!
@@Posmc : thank you 🙏🏽 really appreciate your videos 😊

I have numbness on the top left part of my foot… I have tried everything! It’s been there for about a month now, walking, I look like a weirdo! any recommendations?

How are you going now? I’m 3.5 months post op atm
Nice job and explanation Dr. Wright…I’m watching prior to my surgery in (2) weeks-it didn’t change my mind!
Awesome! I'm so glad you enjoyed this video!
How is your recovery going?
@@thomasbritt6606 Hi and thanks for asking…I believe my recovery has been typical of most TKR patients-challenging for the first 4-5 weeks and more tolerable in the weeks that followed…the arthritic pain is gone thanks to the surgery but there’s still residual swelling remaining from the surgery …I continue to do home PT to increase the leg strength and ride a stationary bike several times a week…Full recovery will probably take a full year…looking to the future, I have no regrets having the surgery!
