My parents were residents at this assisted living in 2015-2016. They loved this service as well as visits from several church members while there. I attended many of the Thursday night services with them. I will forever be thankful for this service.

Love is patient indeed. Something that blew my mind is when I realized Jesus Himself cut the violent bit about God out of the passage in Isaiah 61 he used about himself in Luke 4. Here it is from Isaiah: The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,[a] 2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, He LITERALLY stopped before that "day of vengeance of our God" bit. He put a period after the word "favor". Something tells me there was a real good reason for this, that it was intentional.

The Pastors are wonderful and have been prayerfully by my side in my trials. Thank you church family for all you have done for our family over the years. Adam and Eve felt shame. Very common for a person who wants control in their lives. Adam blamed everyone else. Controlling people tend to rationalize their faults away. This is because they have not allowed themselves to be broken of God. Enjoyed your sharing. Thanks.
