The thing is, Chanel had this issue years back in the early 00s, and they actually addressed it after getting many complaints, but they must have to use more expensive ingredients to deal with the issue. The result was the Joues Contraste Blushers, which never hard pan. So it would appear they can produce products which don't hard pan. I'm very reluctant now to buy any of the powder products from Chanel. Not only do people not have endless amounts of brushes, but who has that sort of time? I literally slap my makeup on in the morning for work.

I have not yet noticed own in my duo blush highlighter that came this summer. But on my trio there is hard pan now and its sad

I found it works best with a primer underneath and probably better for dry skin too. Thanks for commenting 😀

There is a small amount, but it blends well without looking chunky on the skin. If you dont want any glitter, best to avoid and get the normal prisme libre powders as they have no glitter in at all. This one was a LE so maybe that's why it has some sparkle to it.

Probably the liquid foundations other than number one, lipsticks highlighter sticks and Stylo Yeux Waterproof Eyeliners.

Yes, I'm not sure how the new formulas are going to be in the eyeshadows. I know I'm not so impressed with the single eyeshadows, I found them to be a touch powdery. I was looking at that mascara in the green packaging. Eww I'm going to try it now. I just bought the LE Benefit Bad Gal Bang Mascara in Blue. Oh its gorgeous!

I don't with this one. I should have mentioned that. I pump it on back of my hand and break the beads down with my finger, and then apply. It does come with a mini brush which is useful under the eyes but I found application with fingers best and used less product. If you really want to use a brush, a densely packed brush for liquid foundation does the job but will take slightly longer to blend

No it's been good so far. Think the formula is slightly different to that awful Peche Rosee.

@pinkroses9320 I know what you mean. It's just too expensive. I would have returned it if ot had hard panned and updated everyone. It is a nice pallet.

I have been wearing the purple shadow stick as an Eyeliner all week and it's looking great. For me, I'm going to wear the blue one this week to see how that goes Yes, the orange/copper pencil will make a great Autumn look.

I know. I can't believe the quality if it. I used to wear the original Forever foundation until they changed the formula. They ruined that one too. I don't like the glowy or matte versions. That's why I mostly wear Chanel as they are much better. There are positive reviews out of Australia about the stick foundation though. We don't get that until Mid August but I'm excited for it. If you buy it or get to test it, please let me know

Oh thankyou. It's so nice to know my videos make a difference. I love baby blade so much and if you can't get hold of it, the Dior one is equally as good. I've been using the featherfix all this week and I'm loving it. It holds brows in place and gives a great colour. I put it on and then go over it with a spoolie and it blends in so nice. This is a definite repurchase along with baby blade.

It seems to be a trend now. Dior have ruined a few of their perfumes this way. I cannot justify those prices. I think generally, the first editions are always the strongest formula, and then they get weaker afterwards. I do love the No5 L'Eau, though The new one in the egg shape has stayed true to the original bottle I purchased. I am enjoying Givenchy Irresistible lines, too, as they have some great longevity on the skin. Especially the Rose Velvet version. This is really beautiful. Thanks for your comment.

Yes, I noticed it looked much better with powder. I do like it, but just a little disappointed that it didn't blur out my pores or texture.

Yes, I've seen those. The Teint Idole also gets rave reviews. TBH, I'm waiting for the Dior ones to hopefully come on board too. My only disappointment with the CT is, it doesn't blur out pores that well. I noticed other reviewers had to apply a few times to get a smoother look but I don't want to wear too much foundation. As I get older, I'm wearing less and less. The Dior Filter is really lovely but I'll get shade 3 next time.

I was so shocked when the SA told me I had that. Dior are very good with their loyalty gifts. Chanel are useless 😅 The pencil is lovely and I like that it isn't too dark. I wear purple eyeliners a lot. Hope you're keeping well 😊

I never noticed that it was. It does set down.

I think because it's a new store, it's fully stocked, but it will be interesting to see how it is a few months down the line. The website doesn't always have full stock.

I bet its cheaper to go "greener" plus the short shelf life is really good for them - we need to replace more! I do feel people will move away and buy something cheaper! I don't mind throwing out a 3 month mascara but eyeshadows etc - NO!

​@pinkroses8714 Yes, I use up mascaras really fast so I don't mind if they are shorter in SL. I don't wear eyeshadow daily so 6 months will be gone in a flash. I won't be buying too many beauty products which are less than 12 months SL as this will just be throwing money away.

I love them but found it interesting that as the skin ages, you don't hold onto the scent as long but I also know that first edition perfumes are always the strongest. I loved the Live Irresistible but Givenchy discontinued it. The new ones are still nice but not quite as Floral

Sometimes I think a perfume has no smell but as I am a "mature old girl" it may not be hanging around !!! So interesting.

Its Mothers Day in Australia this Sunday so I hope I have a bottle of perfume! lol Will test the long lasting if I do!

Thanks for commenting and I'm so glad, it's not just me having to deal with this although, I'm not happy you have experienced it to. I find that even when I scrape off the hard surface, the underneath just ends up hard panning again. I will keep you all up to date if I start to see any evidence of this. The older ones are fab and do not hard pan at all.

I'm still using mine daily. You only need a tiny amount because the powder is so fine.

I've heard that to. I'm not a huge fan of matte eye makeup anyway. It's hard to get it to look good on me.

@@pinkroses8714 I won't be buying any. I never liked matte on my eyes. I like a mix of mattes and satins. Most palettes do this now, which is good. I liked the Chanel eyeshadows but they remind me of my desert palette from the mediterranee collection, which I still love.

@@pinkroses8714 I think RUclips is a lot of work and I couldn't post regularly so my algorithm wasn't changing therefore, it wasn't really worth it plus, I don't buy as much like u say. When Lucia pica took over Chanel beauty, it lost its way a bit. I thought there was too much red everywhere. Our tax is going up in April this year so I'm going to be even more out of pocket to I think.the shorts (vids) work better for me. Still get my point across and show the products. It's warm here considering its the middle of winter. Weather gone mad!
