    Overall great tutorial. Only thing I would have added (sure I figured it out myself) when it came to the E-step calibration you could have said that your value 98 you use for the calculation is simply 100 minus you measured offset. Just so every noob would get it. But that is a veeery tiny thing in a great video. thanks man helped me a lot

    Sorry for the long comment but 1st of all great video as always I do appreciate the time and effort you made to bring such a quality description, 2nd as a Zbrush 3D sculpt user and also having Anycubic Photon M3 - if you want a true test for any 3D resin Printer you should look for a "head bust or Cloth" with a heavy bumpy skin texture on it, otherwise, you won't be able to see the true capabilities of the printer - usually, if I want to print a figure, for example, I tend heavily to increase the details so that the machine can bring them to life , no matter which printer you have what ever 2k or 12K , What makes it stands is the sculpted project itself

    • @GeeVoo

      Hi i just bought this printer. Can you tell me how many polygons are maximum for this kind of printing? Im a zbrush modeler as well and i wonder how many subdiv i can create for my models

    • @neumann1940
      @neumann1940 3 месяца назад

      @@GeeVoo It does not have any correlation with polycounts, the slicer and also the printer are working with layers - if you have a good PC you can put the model even if it has like 14 million polygons , I've tested Chitubox with a 7 million poly for a head and it appears to work good , just keep in mind 2 things, if your PC is slow try to decimate the mesh to 1 million at maximum 2nd thing try to "Over Bump" your normal map texture as much as you can even when it's decimated , this will make sure the printer will bring all those details no matter if it's 2K or even 14K

    • @GeeVoo
      @GeeVoo 3 месяца назад

      @@neumann1940 Thank you for your advices i will keep them in my mind. Can't wait till my printer arrives so im watching every 3d printer movie on youtube. It seems like most people are using downloaded models from web. I was wondering if my zbrush models will print on this thing. I will prepere my models surface little more bumpy. Thank you once again.

    • @neumann1940
      @neumann1940 3 месяца назад

      @@GeeVoo No worries mate , i do believe the mono x2 will bring high quality to your 3D prints even on 48 microns per pixel , which I'm kinda willing to see as well because I'm thinking of buying it as an upgrade , if you need any help just search for my name on Artstation - Muhammed Neumann , because I can't send any links here

    Hello, I have installed your firmware for the Vyper to use Linear Advance. The flashing worked without any problems but unfortunately it does not print the LA calibration pattern. It prints the first line (K0) after that the lines are incomplete or not printed at all. It also does not print the numbers next to the frame. But I did everything like in your video. I bought an Anicubyc cobra max printer and it did a few prints with a satisfactory level of quality and then it started to have under extrusion the whole object has holes in it. I tried various flow and temperature settings and a lot of other things, but there was no change for the better. Then I wanted to do an e-step calibration with the pronterface and I noticed that the extruder stops three or four times while pushing the 100 mm filament and then continues, regardless of whether it pushes the filament through the hot head or directly from the extruder without a bowden tube. There is no way I can set it to push exactly 100mm, it always has underextrusion, sometimes by 25mm, and it always pushes less than 100mm. The gears in the extruder are good and clean. Could you give me some advice if the problem is in the motor, the motherboard, the voltage that the motor receives or what it is about. Thanks a lot.
