Se front Xse rear best setup.

I think the XSE looks 10000x better. The paint matched grille and trim bits just looks better; more high-end. No Camry needs a grille the size of the entire front end, so the more they can tone that down the better.

When the IX came out I was also struggling with it, but over time it has grown on me and today I find it quite nice actually. This is what BMW has always done. They push the boundaries for design and it can take some time to get used to. Other examples are the BMW 5 series E60 and the G26 4 series and not least the XM. The 4 series Gran Coupé is in my opinion one of the most beautiful cars BMW has made in many years 👌

The old G30 was just a facelifted F10. I always found that to be such a boring car. When the new G60 came out I was thrilled that BMW had moved forward and after 6 months ownership and 20.000 km, I still love my i5🥰 - without a doubt the best car I have ever owned or driven and miles better than the museum piece G30. Regarding the design, BMW has always pushed the boundaries. Just go back to the Chris Bangle E60 and look at the outcry there was from the BMW fanboys - and yet today the same fanboys love the E60 😅

Back end looks like the Honda Accord.

Tim, thank you for making this comparison. I like the dark grill on the SE, better than the XSE. But The XSE has better headlights, all its lights are LED and its driver's gauge display is larger, buy default. For me, its a tough call.

I agree with you 👍! The Avalon was a very classy and luxurious-looking car compared to the Crown. I've yet to see any Crowns on the road in North Texas 🤠, where I live; probably because they're too expensive 💲😢 and odd-looking. Maybe Toyota will do better with the next model year and do a major refresh. 💪🙏

You buy reliability with Toyota. Yes they upped the price this year, but its also more truck than its ever been, In a world where an F150 can get up over 100,000. 52 for a midsize isnt ridiculous. The colorado and the Ranger look nicer, theyre slightly better equipped. But the Tacoma will get you where you need to be and be on the road twice as long.

I looked at Tacoma, Frontier and Colorado. The Colorado won by a long shot in price. In fact, I liked it better overall than the Tacoma.

Anything that is actually seen or said within the first 1 - 2 years is irrelevant since we all know that Toyota as well as Lexus vehicles are more solid after these first two years than what they typically are upon launch.

It's the price. Had a '19 and didn't have enough power to tow our 3200lb camper so traded it on a turbo F-150. 157k miles and the engine has had zero issues, not bothered by a turbo. Was waiting for the new taco, even was on my dealers wait list. My '19 had an MSRP of $43, paid $39 OTD. TRD Off-road, tech, leather. Similar 4th gen is $55k. I prefer a midsized truck, but I'm also not going to pay full sized money for it, that's stupid and foolish.

This 4cyl bashing has to stop. There was very little good to be said about the 2GR/A760 powertrain in the 3rd gen, other than it not breaking much (which is important). The T24 has more torque and uses less fuel. On the middle trims, pricing is up 7% vs gen3/2023.

Its the price. Way overpriced. Then, it's the screaming, jerky 4-banger. Add in reliability issues (front diffs are failing) and people move along to something else. This is not the Toyota we grew up with.

Looks like frog lips or a guy with a moustache who just shaved off his upper lip. Honestly, other than the dashboard, the only thing that has changed is they slapped a piece of plastic over the headlights and taillights.

Reason 1 not selling. Reliability. Reason 2. Price. We all paid a premium for Toyota reliability in the past but if that’s not there anymore why pay the premium - which has just exploded upward too.
