I watched this episode live, as an Ataris fan it was so weird seeing them on Rove. I was 15 at the Brisbane show when they played with The Vandals in 2002.

How can a band without a drummer and headphones to a click track, play at perfect speed to have backing vocals that are pre-recorded? Not knocking the band, and yes I believe all was live but how do they sync the pre-recorded backing vocals? Or secret female singer behind stage?
