Colts safety Rodney McLeod went to the Browns so Daniel Scott (UCAL) was needed for depth (Nick Cross should be able to start this year in place of McLeod). Rodney Thomas II did a nice job last year. Nice video. I give the Colts an A, with Pittsburgh getting an A+ and Seattle getting an A-

Wow, Wade Phillips and Jim Haslett are proven NFL head coaches, so there is real coaching talent in the XFL. Also, having some former NFL great players like Hines Ward and Rod Woodson getting their time as head coaches is also nice to see. These guys may prove themselves and could possibly work their way up to the NFL. You may be right about the XFL and USFL eventually merging. It seems like the XFL is a better league but the USFL has the finances needed to sustain the early financial strain on a new league. Either way, it's great to have some spring football.

I want to like this but this feels like a poor man’s football. Sorry, I look at what the Arena League Football tried to do and enjoyed it way more for what it was. Perhaps it will grow on me but for now I just can not get behind it. We shall see…

Well McCarron is my favorite of the qbs as well and after watching the game he proved he is gonna one of the best qbs in the league. Sadly he has a horrible offensive in front of him and Anthony Becht has no idea what he's doing. I wish he had gotten on Hines Ward team. Holy crap if he had a qb, they would have ran away with it because they got a bruiser at rb, a good o- line and that brahma defensive front seven is probably the best in the xfl. That was all McCarron in the final two minutes

The roughnecks showed out yesterday. A few mistakes but over all an exciting product. I enjoyed the games yesterday more than nfl games. Faster paced, and they let the guys play for the most part. Hope its a success
