Happy birthday Jenny!¡!
Great stuff dude👍, given the length, i think you can also post this as a short
@@viralao3669 thank you very much 🙏
looking good!
thank you :)
It's in Tai Po, New Territory
Where is this place? Nice and peaceful indeed
Hello, witch setting camera did you make for night setting, cuz i have the same camera but struggle to shoot night clips.
Hi, I know this is an old video, but I found it super helpful and was wondering if you used a pocket or pocket 2, and if you used battery saver mode or high quality mode for filming at night? Any info would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
Hi, thanks. I used the pocket 1(og). Used HQ mode. (Pro mode). Gamma is DLog (fake log gamma the pocket 1 has) Corrected everything in Resolve. Hope it helps
May I ask what lens you used ? Thank you!
Xf 16-80mm f4
nice, lens used please
Thank you, this is just XC 15-45 kit
lens used?
This is 7artisans 35mm 1.2
Lmao, awesome
Thank you
As I’m watching your videos I’m admiring your work using both Fuji xt3 and xh1. Which camera do you prefer using? Do you feel the xh1 stabilizer to be necessary? Because your xt3 vids are very stabilized and cinematic
Beautiful work
thanks
How did you achieve stabilization? Was this on a gimbal?
Thanks. All handheld and stabilised in Resolve.
Awesome film with a funny ending 😂
Thank you
Do you prefer the xt3 or xh1? I’m debating to get the xh1 for ibis or the xt3 for 4k60
I prefer xt3 if I'm gonna be grading heavy. Due to the 10 bit internal recording codec(.265)
hello, thank you for this video! was it shot handheld or on on gimbal? I really like that film look but with anything narrower than 23mm I have micro jitters shooting handheld..
Hi, that's handheld. Stabilized it a little in post.
@@miejkesj I see mixed reviews on that lense but in your video I like its character. I am still debating if I should buy this one or just save up for the fujinon 35mm 1.4 aka "the magic" lens haha! Af is not a huge matter to me.
@@ioanniskaikis9965 it actually is good for it's price. But of course it is still up to the user
Nice concept for video. Thanks!
Thanks
Happy birthday MJ
Thanks 👍
Do you use any lens filters? Or is this all done in post?
Those are natural flares. 🙂
Nice shot! Cinematic
thanks
Great video! Would be cool if you posted the general differences like: +/- saturation or sharpness, contrast etc for total noobs like me.
Thank you, I will try to find time hehehe
great job! does that lens offer auto focus or is it manual?
only manual focus :)
Colour grading tutorial please
Will try soon 😃
Gorgeous footage! The shot at the end of the boat, and the sunset is SO GOOD!!!
Thank you so much 🙏
I like the camera. But the moire really pisses me off. I have one too. But that really grind my gears. I cannot unsee it.
I've heard of this problem too. I don't have this camera thou. Footages are from blackmagic website. Just wanted to check grading braw.
excellent
Thanks 😊😊😊
Glad I bumped into this channel
Thanks 😊😊😊
Nicely done.
Thanks 😊
What iso?
800-1000 iso
nice, tx
Thanks 🙏
pls share the recipe
it's just on eterna profile. auto wb, highlight and shadow all 0, sharpness all the way down. nR all the way down... it was converted from rec709 to Davinci wg to ARRI log. all adjustments was made in between two CST. in Davinci resolve
@@miejkesj thank you
@@miejkesj Hello sir, I am just starting to learn Davinci, so to make this super clear, you shot that on Eterna sim in camera and then applied the Kodak 2383 LUT ? Any other suggestions? It looks warm for eterna profile, but I really love it. Your channel should be a lot more popular, thanks a lot and sorry for my newbie question!
@@ioanniskaikis9965 thanks. Yes, shot with Eterna(plus personalized recipe). Converted using CST to Cineon gamma then used Kodak LUT. In between the conversion, used the color warper tool to simulate two tone color (shadow n highlights)
@@miejkesj it would be nice to share your personalised eterna recipe, but if not, I still thank you a lot. I will try to bring my footage as close to that as possible. Thank you🙂
I love the Romantic Bloom. How do I achieve this
Thanks, will come up with a better explanation soon. Hehehe 😌
@@miejkesj do a tutorial and i will copy hahahah
@@ScreenWriteWithJC maybe this can help... (power grade) drive.google.com/drive/folders/1QwoZXB9IqiMmA1cKneIuBGCzQTI-p4cd?usp=share_link
Sir exactly talking about this look sir
It's the exact procedure. Just make sure that color space is at Dvinci Wide Gammut and that all adjustments are done in between the CSTs. First CST is braw (bmpcc 6k wife Gammut gen 5 and bmpcc film to Davinci WG and Davinci intermideate) then do all adjustments nodees. Then CST again after all the adjustments (davinci wg, Davinci intermideate to cineon film log) then last node is film lut(Kodak)
Sir how did u grade it?? Can u plz break it down? It's looking awesome
Thanks. I'll try.. :) clips are from Blackmagic website.. im using the Davinci WG color space... then just basic node built.. first is you need to build 3 nodes.. 1st is CST from Davinci BMPCC6k Film to Davinci WG. then CST for Davinci WG to Cineon Film, then the third node is the Kodak Film LUT 2383.......Now in between 1st and 2nd node(the two CSTs) we make a new node - parallel nodes for expo and wb.. then another parallel nodes for sat/color boost(one node) and Style(another node) - I normally pull down the reds on the shadows, pull down the greens on the mids and pull down some blues on the highs, then use curves to slightly lessen saturation of greens and their luminance. then next node will be some minor adjustments for vignette using power windows tool... so all of the adjustments are made in between the CST nodes (kinda like a sandwich). then adjust to your liking. Hope that helped. Cheers
@@miejkesj sir thank u sir… it ll help me in ongoing project sir… thanks alot and keep it going sir u r doing great…
@@miejkesj my freind has shot his entire movie on BMPCC 6K pro … and i was not getting correct CST for BRAW footage… and he wants the same look… thanks alot sir
great job . romantic bloom for me , has the most cinematic vibe !
Thank you 😊
Very nice! Wondering how did you grade the horror look ? :) thanks!
Thanks, it is quite a process. :) I edited with a davinci wgamut color space, tweaked the contrast (whites and blacks from raw file editor), saturation/desaturation via color warper, made a make shift style halation effect(as I'm only using the free version) converting it to all to Fuji Film Print LUT and overlaying it with some downloadable fee 35mm film grain.
i will try to export a power grade and post it here, so you can have a go. Cheers
@@miejkesj Thanks very much!
What lens?
not sure, all the clips are downloaded from the blackmagic website. it's for grading purposes only. thanks
Dzo vespid 21 and 50
Recently got a BMPCC 6K, thanks for the motivation. Great colours!
Thanks 🙏🙏
💯😎🎉

Did you grade the footage or use a film simulation.

@ 0:56 that looked like a movie scene . Was that part shot handheld?????
Thanks. T'was handheld. Trying so hard to just stabilize it in post.
@@miejkesj awesome ! Mine is on the way been so excited to shoot with it. Last question tho can I shoot 200mps without battery grip . Some have said I must have it ?
@@bernardjackson4974 yes you can shoot in 200mbps without the grip. It would be advantageous to have it though for headphones out and extended power.
@@miejkesj agreed thanks ! . I'm definitely will subscribe💪
@@bernardjackson4974 thanks 🙏
Nice. Though some noise noticeable. But acceptable. I am using xt2 either. Will stick to it until xt6 maybe. Do you use any lut when adjusting the color?
Thanks! And that's just Classic Chrome with a little tweaking from Resolve. :)
3 weeylites setup or 4?
Just 3 😅
