If the Ring resolves against you, a pretty funny plan B is to just counter every life gain spell they ever play until their life runs out lol. It works out sometimes. XD

first game really showed that LE has no place anymore in modern turn 3 boardwipe + huge board isnt enough vs boros energy. But better ban grief lol

So I didn't think Ral's coin flip was a "may" ability, doesn't it just happen every time you cast an instant or sorcery? Other than playing instants on top of the effect, I didn't think you could control much when he flips.

Spawn hitting basics feels like an oversight

For all the naysayers out there: yes, this deck or some variant of it is a tier 1 deck in the format. It is difficult to pilot. It is kind of like UR murktide but more on the control side than the aggressive side like UR. All matchups are very close, but if played properly it is favored against most decks in the format. Hardest matchups are energy and eldrazi, but these swing from slightly favored to slightly unfavored depending on your sideboard, mulligan decisions, and how you play. If you're getting less than consistent 3-2s or 4-1s with this deck you need more practice with it. Similar to izzet murktide prior to lotr, this deck does not have really any matchups worse than 45/55.

What I've learned playing this deck is that to be successful in modern, you have to play boros, jeskai, or e tron. Dingo said it himself, frogtide wins less than half the time....

With so many cards available from exile casting wouldn't amulet be a fair choice to deal one per card thus lowering the amount of cards needed to storm?

at 26:52 you probably should have spent all the mana to cast murktide, exiling just one instant, in order to cast cling on the next turn making murk a 10/10, and also gaining 3 life, allowing you to swing (he could have gone to 11 equipping the shadowspear to the construct)
