Smelling the Roses
США
Добавлен 30 сен 2014
Our channel is about my husband and I traveling in a 35 ft. Dutchman Kodiak around the United States. Our RV is named Rosie. We also have a dog named Bingo. He loves to travel too! Tim and I (Kathy) have recently retired and we are finally doing what we have always dreamed of...traveling from sea to sea. We love historical places the best. We have been to many National Parks by car, but would love to see them all, and camp in them also. Now that we have our Travel Trailer and we are retired, we are able to do that. It's time to go out and "Smell The Roses". That's why we named our channel, "Smelling the Roses". Our goal is to see all 50 states! We have gone on a few trips and we always post our pictures on Facebook so our friends and family can see where we have been, but now we are moving to videos so they can get more of a feel of our trip. We hope we are successful doing this.

Storm was a dud, but fear machine worked great.
Just like down in Florida, Hurricane is coming, Hurricane is coming, get supplies, flash light batteries, seven days, 6, 5, 4, 3 evacuate... 2, 1, 0 day, 2 am, 30 mph wind with little rain, dah.
Yes, it's frustrating. People were emptying the stores of TP, batteries, and water, etc. All my husband and I did was take down the bird feeders, and chimes...ha
Isn't that a buffalo?
They don't call them Buffalo anymore. They call them Bison. At least they do at the visitor centers we've been to.
haram
So cool to see. Glad you kept good distance to them. 🙂
We were standing on the pier. They were under the pier. No access to them, but I would have stayed away anyway. And I'm happy you enjoyed seeing them.
@@smellingtheroses7427 Yeah. Some people go so close to them just to take selfies. I think they're crazy. :P
Shark Buffet. All You Can Eat.
did they get up top at High tide? and just wait to dry out. They sound like Dogs ...its great
That's probably what they did. That one was very loud. Glad you liked it.
Evolutionarily, they're somewhat closely related to dogs, wolves and bears. They're all caniforms ("dog-shaped").
If you look closely, you will see that there is fencing around the Bears, but they have plenty of room to roam. People drive through and have to stay in the car with windows rolled up. It's a beautiful area, but the smoke from fires in Canada was filling the skies.
Majestic, but I wouldn't be like a tourist at Yellowstone 🤔
This hits different after reading "Zero Fail"
I'm sorry. I don't understand your comment.
Why did you want to go in the first place?
We love history and I wanted to see it. It was totally different than I had in my head, and the way it looked in those films from 1963. We are glad we went.
thanks, and now I don't have to go there
Glad to help...it's a bit of a mess through that part of town. It wasn't the best video, but we didn't want to go through again because of all the people, bad road, and traffic.
What happens to the bears in case of a wildfire.
I'm sorry, I don't know the answer. I do know they had a guard sitting atop a post watching everything. So I'm guessing they would know pretty quick if there was a fire and they must have a truck with cages nearby where they could evacuate all of them.
@smellingtheroses7427 We had to cut fences ,mainly cornered areas ,and let our animals flee.We lost most ,but were very greatful 🙏 for the burned up survivor's. Thank you for commitment to the bears ,We have a wonderful bear population in the western sierras,we also have a wildlife care and rehabilitation center for critters in need of critical care.Thank you for sharing.
@@avalon1rae Sorry to hear that. Thank you for all you are doing.
Isn't it beautiful ❤
Yes, it is! My husband and I love the rain and always enjoy it when we get to see it and be in it. Sadly though, we live in California, and it doesn't rain here much anymore.
