I just wanted to share my experience regarding scam issues on steam I was scammed by a pretentious steam staff member that my account has a 12 hour notice before getting permanently ban because of false accusation (which I think you guys commonly know so I don't need to explain further about this scheme). Anyway, I did recover my account after 8 hours, I just input the data asked, the same thing on this video. Though the money that got robbed from me isn't refundable, I was asked by the scammer to buy a $50 gift card (which is a lot for me) for verification on my account, which I did and now the money is gone. So for those who got scammed and did purchase a gift card, unfortunately the money you spent won't return... though your account will be recovered. I shared this to anyone out there currently experiencing the same thing so you don't lose hope the same thing I felt when I got scammed and when I'm waiting for steam's reply. Lucky I found this video and found the comments that everything is going to be fine if I have enough evidence that I own the account.

I just did this 4 hours ago and currently waiting for a response the hacked changed both my email and password so hopefully they can fix that this guide has been very helpful so far…

OMG THANK YOU!!! I wish I saw this just after getting hijacked almost a year ago lol. I sent a ticket to steam support earlier today, and they just responded to me same day almost 5 hours later and were able to recover my account. I am currently trying not to contain my excitement, TYSM TO YOU AND STEAM SUPPORT!
