When you framed with Lightburn, can you reduce the power to single digits so you can see the dot as it frames?
You mean frame with a lower laser power ?
Yes, would that let you see the laser dot in the framing so you can tell exactly where the laser will cut or engrave?@@nozzler

@@nozzler🤣😋... but on a serious note now, how would you rate quality of the prints on FF 5M ? I have hard time to decide between FF 5M and Qidi x-smart 3, same price currently. One has slightly higher build volume the other is fully enclosed 🤷♂️

Do you notice that after auto-focus for a cut, the probe touches the very top of the workpiece?
Hello, I was the one who tested this machine. The probe never touched the part during engraving. Your problem may be that the piece of wood or other is not straight (warped). This can happen if you focus at the lowest point. In this case. try to clamp the part as best as possible to avoid this problem.
I was cutting, so the focus was in the middle of the 5mm wood, so deeper than engraving. The wood is fairly flat. A few others I've spoke to have the same issue.@@pro-stl5720

Salut NoZZler Comme tu semble bien dans le sujet et que le manuelle de la P1 est très legé Je voulais savoir, pour le moment je n'ai pas le air assiste, vaut mieux que je retirer le contour de protection en plastique ?? Et savoir si la buse "conique" qui est poser sur le laser doit etre démonter si on utilise pas le air assiste ? Je viens d'avoir un petit compresseur que je vais mettre dessus mais je voulais savoir pour etre moins bète :p

Bonjour Drbazik, Tu peux laisser le contour de protection, c’est pratique pour jeter oeil même si tu n’as pas les lunettes sous la main. Pareil, il vaut mieux laisser le cône, ça protège quand même la lentille des micro projections je trouve. Après si tu peux brancher un petit compresseur c’est déjà mieux que rien pour la découpe👌
Hello Luke merci pour ta réponse, j'avais remarqué déjà un petit dépôt sur le cône mais comme tu l'explique c'est mieux sur le cône que directement sur la lentille Oui j'ai un petit compresseur d'atelier, certes ca fait plus de bruit mais au moins plus polyvalent :)

@@nozzler just saying, if you could explain which screws, nuts, and sections you are putting together it would be helpful. I just got this engraver and there are literally no good assembly videos. The manual as you know it's not very helpful.

This is not 0.01 accuracy !?! How do you prove your accuracy - the resolution is not the highest
The resolution will increase with the Turntable. It's always a big option who helps 3D Scanner Accuracy. Check on the review article for the current Accuracy demo. It will be update with the turntable and the handgrip
You couldn't have picked more annoying and useless music by beating on a drum with a deceased water buffalo.
If that the seal, I'm not impressed. No detail in holes, screws, no sharp lines,etc. It looks like the mole. Do you use the new software update or the current version? Cause the current version does not have the tools to squeeze all the data. Definitely I will wait until this scanner hits the real world with the "software update" to see. In my opinion you should remove this video cause makes more harm than good. Honestly. With this video your taking away possible buyers who really know about 3d scanning. Hope you understand.
Hello Jose. Thanks for your reply. Unfortunally I don't test the Mole, so I can't compare. But, this video was made witht he first SEAL compatible version of JMStudio. Software is a great tool on accuracy for 3D scan, and I'm sure the next updates will increase the precision. This video will stay here, because we do not lie to customer. The other important point, is the scan's mode. In this case it was Rapid Scan. The new turntable mode will aslo increase the precision. So let's see in the near futur !

Would you have a clue as to why my V2 isn't recording timelapse videos?
Hi there, Could be many issues... Have you updated the FW? Activated the Time lapse and set the TL mode? Are you using the apps or the web interface?
@@ironfitz8626 I had just bought the camera and didn't realize that it only recorded videos that were started from within their app (or web interface). I thought that the connection between the camera and printer meant they were working entirely together, which is not the case. In fact I discovered that once you start a print with the app, you better not forget you did and start changing anything through the printer display during a print as bad things might happen, in my case I did this when I tried to change fan speed or something on the printer display after having started it in the beagleprint app, the extruder just started moving all around and then started vibrating badly on the bed. Anyway timelapes seems to be working now. Thanks

Ce n'ai pas l'imprimante que j'utilise le plus parce que j'ai une V400 qui me permet de plus gros volumes et je préfère garder la petite pour du filament plus technique qui nécessite le caisson. Pour le moment aucun problème de mon côté. Important de faire attention en glissière en fibre de carbone qui ne doivent surtout pas être rayées. Bonne machine pour le tarif.
Hey, what filament is it, what temps you use and what was your print speed? Was it hard to print or is it easy as PLA
It’s Tenaflex TPU. Medium flexibility and high resistance ! Printing temp: 230ºC - 240ºC. Bed : 60 -90 C ( depends on the surface) Print slowly (30 a 40 mm/s). Much difficult to print than PLA

It's the basic settings from the Creality slicer. Z distance 0.25, X/Y distance 0.8. I think the best way for the is to download it and check all the support settings.

@@freed046 Alors je ne peux pas vous aiguiller la dessus parce que c'est du papier de recup et je n'ai plus le laser. Mais généralement les réglages de bases sont fournis avec la machine, ou par la marque. Après il faut toujours adapter en fonction de son medium.
