Which cost dear
Hi, I know this is a bit late of a comment, but hopefully you still read these! Recently got accepted as NU Compsci '29, and I know a lot of people like to double major or take multiple minors. Since you say CS is an intensive major, do people still get away with double-majoring or taking multiple minors? And if say, I don't take any double majors or minors (which I assume is uncommon at NU), is that also fine?
@JasonWang-p9h hi great questions! I know lots of people who have succeeded in getting double majors or multiple minors with the cs major. I think some common ones are data science, economics, cognitive science, kellogg certificate in financial economics, and business institutions. But I’ve also seen literature, classics, asian American studies and other liberal arts pairings. I also know lots of people who only major in CS (which is pretty common). I’ve seen people graduate in 3 years with only CS and people who graduate in 4 years with only CS and they take a lighter schedule and take random classes for fun. College is really whatever you want it to be. Nobody judges you for not double majoring or minoring. Good luck and go cats!!💜💜💜

Basically because of the pandemic and financial limitations you never had a chance to actuall experience Cornell. Then you wanted to double major. In other words, Northwestern was always your first choice, you just got in eventually as a transfer student.

@@ericaross5936 hi! thank you!! Some of the swag was pretty cool! Most of the after party events were invite only. Some companies invited me over email before I got to the conference. Other companies invited me after I went up to their booth. I hope that helps!
somehow getting this video 5month later but honestly it just feels like im a freshman again lol😭 didn't went to any of the transfer stuff cuz im lazy and hate socials and if anyone hates attending all the orientation process honestly its all fine even if one don't go? no one really cares if one is a transfer student i think they care more about their next midtern 🤣
