@@AutoAuras-2024 I had a foreign car repair shop for over 20 years starting in 1982 after a 10-year stint with Porsche. I declined all MG work and early Jags and if you insisted the labor rate was $100. Mine was $60 at the time. People still paid. I even had a customer ask what sports car she should buy. I told her anything but an MG. Weeks later she rolls in with an MGB. The one with the Strombergs mounted right over the Cat. Two weeks later it burned to the ground when one of the carbs flooded over. Lucas products at the time were garbage. Maybe better now. The refrigerator punch is still a good one.😎
