2 years ago we tried no traps no buildings no weapons only abilities but failed every time at w17 (this was possible with decoy + despawn)

@@zatoo that sounds very impressive. Maybe one day, w17 will be surpassed if your team ever does it again or someone else in the current meta & changes of 2024.

@Palermo69 likely tomorrow in my time zone before the melee modifier goes away, if I'm available. Though pl128 isn't needed for doing the weekly modifiers, if a lower lvl zone should do for convenience & easy runs.

@@acejoker996 that's something that me and shinos may consider doing in the future. Only major issue Is it's long cooldown & low damage after the early waves. Sadly there's new bugs introduced in the chapter 6 update that makes doing frostnite runs rather annoying to do. mainly the new trap bug where you can't place traps, Rosie, or base after they are gone, unless the structure is upgraded or destroyed. :(

​@@niterifleryou could use different copies of Grill with different reload so husks are always on fire or combo Grill with freeze for the debuff that will apply to husks or if it comes down to it you could stack multiple Grills in the same spot with the stacking bug to deal consistent dmg

@@acejoker996 your suggestion for alternating reloads is good. For the stacked traps part, I'm trying to avoid using glitches that significantly impact the run, so that each attempt remains easy to replicate.

agreed. husk ai has gotten more buggy ever since the terrain building update came out in summer of 2024 :( from husks getting attracted to stair/cone edits, and husks & mist monsters seeing arches/half arches as full walls, to smashers not charging off ledges anymore.

@ personally I only have the cant place trap and smasher buggy charge, and the edited walls is ofc attacked by smashers (I mean that s the aim of it…)

@@eddine07bbx the trap bug is a new one in chapter 6, the only way to fix that is to upgrade or destroy said structures to be able to place Traps, Rosie, or Base again. About the arches, I should've clarified more on what I meant on that. If you have arches/half arches in the husk's main path, they will instead break your block offs to get around them. since arches are sadly bugged & makes every enemy see them as an obstruction instead. Making them useless for aligning enemies to the floor center in trap tunnels & reducing risk of smashers hitting tunnel sidewalls while charging, if they are currently bugged. :(

@ so you re telling me if I hit a buged wall for example I ll be able to place the trap again ?

@@eddine07bbx no, you have to upgrade or destroy the bugged structure to place stuff on it again

@@wbwb9935 yes but that will be more challenging with lobbers & flingers. That will likely be attempted sometime during the frostnite 2024 season.

thanks anti airs are impossible alone as they cant damage anything besides flung husks, which then only one can hit a flung husk at a time. wall spikes are possible but will be more of a stalling run, as they will struggle in late waves from healers healing away the damage, & riot huskies being immune to wall spikes. though a wooden spikes only run is possible as a few players have done it using both floor & wall wooden spikes.

​@@Mrzombie924Wall Spikes will likely be attempted after I do some less difficult challenges. I may go for using both wooden spike traps for some practice & insight before doing wall spikes only.

@@lqfr they weren't much of a issue as the trap's high impact & damage was enough to stop them from exploding most of the time.

@@JeseLoes you farm cars and mechanical objects. Looting containers, chests or safes. Recycling weapons or traps made out of them. Or do side objectives like anomalies, that reward them by chance.

it depends of power level of mission you play. If you play ~70 pl mission you can`t get 5 stars parts.

@VadymLoza-f2c forgot to clarify that and went with any mechanical parts in general. Pl94 zones or above is where you start getting tier 5 mats as uncommon resources.

@@notcrzain7399 I think that challenge was only possible in 2021 when ice king's commander perk was bugged to have no cooldown, while husks were weaker back then. 2022 would've been also possible when despawning used to count as a kill towards kill waves, but required a different strategy. 2023 or later, very unlikely given the changes that ocurred since then. I'm not sure if it's theoretically possible post-2022?

@@VadymLoza-f2c well it's kinda possible this year now after I did a little research on that topic. A spanish(?) player recently done it using ice king and a different base & tunnel design for stalling husks.
