Fully aware and neat factoid, but I’d still think it would be cooler if comics Fury and Movie Fury had distinguishing face prints and details. I like using my parts for customs and unique faceprints is my favourite part of minifigures.

Wishful thinking but maybe the torso can be used in other sets and bring that value down, making it easier to acquire. I would love to have more items on display that represented the games so I had to try and make this guy.

Love this idea. I always used the Bat creatures from the line as a substitute for Man-Bat in my DC displays.

I think everyone would love a new DeLorean remake that’s scaled to minifigs. Actually surprised LEGO don’t make more sets based on the older properties like Dukes of Hazzard and Magnum P.I. because usually LEGO love celebrating the olds.

I have never seen any Supernatural however the partner has and says this would be excellent. More television based sets in general would be appreciated.

I’m in similar situations. Missed a ton of the comic based sets despite loving them more than the movie based ones. Still on the hunt to this day for 2015-2020 era sets.

I’m trying to get my hands on the others because of how nostalgic I am towards this sub-theme specifically. Love the designs for the armour and weapons.

Yeah agreed. Surprised to see how well these designs fit into also working as live action depictions.

I grabbed this secondhand some years ago after also missing it at release and regretting skipping. Coulson alone has been worthwhile with those special and incredibly useful parts.

I always wanted the barge for the sarlacc and boba as a kid, this isn't the compromise I wanted because this isn't a compromise at all, it's the set I wanted minus a sail barge, shit.

That’s how I see it. The pit is the most detailed change compared to the previous releases, and it’s cool to see but at the end of the day it’s just a big chunk of bricks. That chunk feels like the bulk of the set here and I don’t feel like paying $150nzd feels worthwhile.

You know what would have cut like %50 of the price?

A Molded Baseplate

@@RayLilySeries unfortunately i took mine apart at over the years ended up losing lots of the pieces but i have the instructions so maybe i can just buy the missing pieces and rebuild it

It’s too hard to tell at this stage if these anniversary sets will go to clearance or not. If it drops to $100, PLUS a store sale around the December holidays then I definitely think it’s worth considering.

Understandable. I think it’s dece for the price I paid but that’s because I luckily saved $50. I do think the prices are pretty appalling as harsh as that is, solely with sets like this that function as remakes of previously released sets which were priced half of what this costs and featured roughly the same thing. I think personally I will always be more critical of sets like this if they cost over $100. Even the direct translation of $130nzd feels fine to some extent. But what is the extra $20nzd for?

It’s a brilliant idea and something I also do. It helps that LEGO only have like 3-5 big releases schedules a year so you have some good amount of time to put aside something to get sets on release day if you want.
