My friend Dan is a prolific artist, musician, and record label owner. He sent me his new album and said I could pick a song then do whatever I wanted for the music video. This record reminded me of a forgotten beauty found in the raw Connecticut winter landscape. So we flew to Connecicut and I shot the video I had seen in my head.

this verité style film follows a group of middle-class suburban boys who have adapted the lifestyle of the stunt show reality television stars they grew up idolizing. photographed over the course of two years, the boys experience the bliss of high school popularity and the despair of the consequences it brings. Wow, why is this just now being posted?
It has been on Vimeo for 12 years, so it felt like it was time.
@@glawackus that’s awesome man, glad you released it. I love dan and his work with giles corey, amazing music. This music video too is beautifully shot.
@@gjhill5673 Thank you!
godflesh vibes intro. dope.
Bruh, the first 2 minutes looks like it came straight from a Godflesh concert in the early 90's
06:16 was pretty good, like really passionate in sound and in the video
. interesting . . modern punk ethic . . i am mid-fifties, and was a teen in the late 70s, and i can see punk attitudes .
Where can I find it? I would really like to watch this.
Same. I found this video back in 2009 due to it using have a nice life as soundtrack music. Got kinda fascinated by the trailer and came back here every couple years because it somehow found its way back to my mind. Never had a chance to see the movie. What a shame they never uploaded it to the internet. This whole movie had/still has potential. Otherwise there wouldn't be people still remembering this.
that Peavey is fucking sick
Peavey T-15, under $300 online (they don't make them anymore, only in the 80's) really cool guitars!
I hate this crowd.
+Jaemseh I also don't really expect the fans of HANL to be up moshing because this is like if IDM had a rock sub-genre with lyrics but this is the only live performance I've seen of them, sadly, so I might be wrong.
@@hsuhru2051 really weird and kind of misleading statement you just made
Being there I recall it sounding differently that this. Still, amazing show.
apollosfury Differently like better? I just bought a ticket to see them play 5 hours away from where I live and I have faith that they'll put on a sweet show but I don't want to get my hopes up too high
@@palbo4 How was the show?
These guys rule.
eu so queria o dvd pra mostra pros meus amigos
+chupano peitinho da mamae eles n merecem ver
I'd see this twice
DIAAAAAZ!!!
I think you're being a bit overly sensitive mon cheri, which relates back to my initial comments about cynicism in the internet age. Go on with your life and enjoy!
Wow, give me a break. Do you do this shit to a lot of people?
C'est la vie, I realize most aren't open to advice of strangers, but I'll still try. Hopefully I made you think at least a bit.
Therapists don't even give advice. Not the one I've seen anyways. I don't understand how you think it's appropriate to talk talk to me like you know me. It's really shallow, but I don't try to pretend I know you, because I don't. No one knows each other on the internet, and that's just the way it is. I choose to do whatever I want, not with the intention of making people like you make replies to me.
Actually after looking at your hilarious last.fm bio you just seem edgy, so I shouldn't expect much out of you. You should really do some reading of fiction or philosophy so you snap out of this state of mind that you will surely regret later in life--you close so many doors by adopting a narrow minded and pretentious point of view. But hey, I'm not your therapist, do whatever you want in life; I'm just trying to guide you down a path (I think) you won't regret. What's the harm in that?
You have no idea what depression is. It's not sadness or pity, it's indifference and a lack of passion. What you're seeing in this video is clearly a performance full of energy and passion--I hardly see where you got complaining from, it's mostly just a band rocking out and putting their hearts into a performance. I really can't stand the cynicism which seems to be a product of the internet age, we need more sincerity and empathy.
Where I can see the complete concert?
eRtRko 4 years later but did you ever find it? The whole thing is up on RUclips
@@palbo4 6 years later and not anymore lol
lol look at these guys. Immm sooo depresssedd waaaaaaaah! Deathconsciousness is a good album, but these guys are kind of embarrassing live.
How so? Is it cause Dan is walking around and actually being active? Or is it the sound? Cause either one is a poor excuse of why this is embarrassing.
U have a very strange idea of depression!!!
ur fun at parties hahaha
what do you expect them to do? Mosh? hahaha
Most skramz bands wish they had this much passion and catharsis on stage
2deep4me
what a fantastic show! holy shit this is so intense
Cody Kestigan, aka America Addio.
Who's playing guitar in this?
DVD is sold out :(
@buckledkiller enemies list is the label you can get it & other great music
I would give everything i have, everything i am just to have the possibility to be in front of this. Best band in the holy fucking shitworld.
this is awesome
New Britain up in dis glastonbury ain't shit
how is supposed to a no-mainstream band manage to have Mesa amps????
A dual rec is like a grand used.
They're pretty easy to rent as well
Not sure but id say Dan has a pretty good salary in his pvt life. Music is not a business of money for him.
@@luanbrancher6269yeah he has a good job and shit
why this lame crowd is just sitting?
When's the real thing coming out I live in gbury
