King Sunny Ade and His African Beats at Rockpalast, Essen, Germany on April 17, 1983. Introduction song: Gbeyo, Gbeyo
How come you left out Theophilus Iwalokun, J.O.Araba, Ambrose Campel and Emperor Pick Peters? In addition you should have played the music of the respective artists as you introduce them instead of picking Sunny Ade's all through. This would have made us identify with their brand of juju music. Thanks.
One of the greatest concert experiences I've ever had was King Sunny Ade and his incredible band at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Evergreen, Colorado near Denver. It was around this same time. 1982 or '83. Fantastic!
Entertainer per excellence!
Nice memories concerts
Nice memories
Nice memories
KSA d great legend
Who is here enjoying this in 2024 ? 💃💃💃💃💃💃🎉🎉🎉🎉🔥. I want to submit that King Sunny Ade is a rare species. He has refused to grow old, even till now 😂😂. Keep rocking 👑
The master guitarist, Sunny Ade❤
Evergreen
Long live KSA

Awesome 👍🌹🥰
An entertainer of Himalayan proportions !!
Good old days with original band members
Sunny Ade is a national treasure. Such a showman!
The soul in this song. Evergreen sound.

This was serious 🧐!!!
Oga ju , Essential Sunny Ade at his Best.
unfortunately this is in mono...the stereo version blows everyone away.
You're bless ljmn Amen king Sunny Ade
Fela had women in his company.....
Long life the legend of juju
May you live long sir,
The Best Guitarist in the World of All Times is King Sunny Ade. .
Ksa eyin omode wonyi
Ksa ewele
Super entertainer per excellence ..Always proud of you sir!
Nothing like the old team, the old band was more experienced and KSA can never get this quality again. Look at those boys playing the guitar and the drums, no way, the difference is clear
I completely agree with you. When I watch his shows now, that energy and dexterity have watered down in the band.
@@PADUtech There is a party concert, wherein the band is a tad laid back and a proper concert! How many of KSA' concert in the recent past have you watched?
@@Zendaya63 😊😊you asked the wrong person the right question. May be if you know, you could have asked "how many of his concerts in the past have you mixed?"
The Best ever of king Sunny Ade messages
Entertainer Extraordinaire
Truly you the real King unbearable. May God Almighty keep you for us IJMN AMEN.
What is this song about?
It's about pure enjoyment and entertainment!
A song praising a late politician in Nigeria who goes by the name Adegoke "Penkelemesi" Adelabu.
I want more of this oldies please
This is when the old boys were with the king of world beat sunny Ade
Yes pls i need oldeis
Serious percussion! Chai!
God bless King Sunny Ade, Yoruba Nation has really contributed so much to the black race more than any nation.
Each time I listen to King of World Beat (King Sunny Ade), I always remember my late father. I grew up listening to KSA as a child and still enjoy listening to his music till now. Evergreen, GOD bless you more for the good job Sir.
Kola wo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely
Tolles Zeug!!!
Was it a failed attempt? KSA birthed the word music as we have it today.
@@Zendaya63 Indeed it was. They presumably tried to establish another "Third World" (sorry!!!!) star after Bob Marley's death...Fela was probably too hot an iron...however Juju was much less accessible than, say, Soukous, or the stuff that Paul Simon brought from South Africa, that was smoother to Western ears. I still think it is a shame. It is beyond good! I'd love to see this on a Rockpalast Re-issue record!! I am afraid Island looked just "Who sells most records in Africa?", and did not really know what to do with this music.
@@gehegedrei you are spot on. very correct!
God father baba
Und ich war live dabei. Denkwürdiger Auftritt.
😊❤

Great musician
Adegeye really really try. whao
Imagine this genius came from America.
Ah Rockpalast was great! I remember seeing this on Dutch television, thanks for posting this. I don't know what it is with Ade and his band, but his juju music always make me happy
