Call it a “Mandela effect”; I was sure for years that the Overture of TRON Legacy played in a minor key like this. Only realized it didn’t when recently re-watching the film after not seeing it since around 2012 or ‘13, and it felt so weird the first time… Suffice to say, I’m very glad to have found your slowed/pitch shifted remix. The minor key emphasizes the tragedy and dystopia at the heart of Legacy, I feel; it’s not as grandiose as befits Flynn’s speech at the beginning, but I think this would be a perfect companion piece for the backstory Flynn tells of how CLU took over the Grid- or to his sacrifice at the end of the film, or Tron’s sacrifice as Rinzler.
