Hi Mark, in one of his earlier episodes on Prophet Talk, he brings up his conversion experience and in another he makes mention of how he was called as prophet. There have been many throughout time, in the Body of Christ who have had/have this calling.

I'm sincerely interested to hear about what sacraments were part and parcel to our faith in Scripture? I personally do not believe that the Catholic Church is anything close to the faith that the New Testament apostles preached.

@@rogerclyde2720 the Trinitarian controversy was a major issue in the first four centuries of the early church. Most of it centered around the divinity of Christ.

LOL roger, Oh well. It might help to see things this way: You have a body, soul and spirit. In a parallel fashion God the Father could symbolically represent the Soul (mind/will), Jesus represents the body and the Holy Spirit represents the spirit. All 3 in one. Another symbolic representation would be that just as there are members in one family, all bearing the same surname, we have God the Father, Son and Spirit, but that there are spiritual elements to this simplistic explanation that do not fully fit the bill. However, it may help to grasp the concept. Another is man and woman so in love with each other and married to each other. They can sense when the other is going through something (some couples do), and they are ONE couple, but distinctly different, working in unison. Another earthly representation of such a divine mystery would be when 2 rivers merge and become a "confluence".

@camillal4381 Hear O'Isral, The Lord our God is one Lord. The Lord, he is God. No God's formed before me, none after me ,neither shall there be. God can not be explained by physical or earthly creation. We are the creation. He is the Creator,We are the Creation. We don't explain him,He explains us.He is always referred to in the singular and never in the plural. Laugh if you wish. Scripture says make your salvation sure. It also says study to show yourself approved, a workman that needs not be ashamed. Jews are all monotheis. The majority of Jews reject the Trinity as nonsense. And God revealed himself to them, and they don't believe that God is divided into persons, neither do I.And I am a witness. There are not three. But sense you would rather not believe , I'll just leave it there and be like Thomas a one God Jew, and proclaim him my Lord and my God. Not one out of three.

@@beckysmith1178 I agree with you completely! We must have biblical infrastructure in all of our churches. It reminds me of the 70s when there was this great move of God called the Jesus people. What immediately followed was a very strong discipling movement. They needed that infrastructure in their lives. We’re saying exactly the same thing today. Revival is breaking out everywhere and I’m so grateful to God to be able to see these things happening. Thank you so much for your wonderful encouragement.

@ Thanks for pointing out the 1970’s Jesus movement. I was in HS at the time and I remember always being close to Jesus even though I was the typical teenager. It did have a powerful effect on me and formed a strong foundation to build my life on for my future marriage and 2 children. Been married 48yrs this next year and a retired nurse of 42yrs. A grandmother and a recent great grandmother! My husband and I go to church regularly and we continue to pray and encourage our children who are believers but not active in church.
