The world's most endangered animals
Every year, two thousand more species go extinct. Here are five of the most endangered animals on the planet. Four of these moving images were created by the Runway Gen. 3 text to video A.I. and one is real footage (run through Kaiber to give it that look). Can you tell the difference? @RunwayML

Best Books about fictional bands

From Kobo, here's a list of the best books about fictional bands - which has somehow become a genre in its own right. They're all fun and easy reads, and they really do take you up on the stage with them with all the joy and mayhem and wonder of what it's really like to play in a rock and roll band.
The Cavern Bass

The world's most valuable guitar has gone missing. Sometime during the Get Back sessions, Paul McCartney's original violin shaped bass (known as the Cavern bass) went missing, likely lost or stolen. Please contact thelostbass@hofner.com with any information.

Wine Dark Sea (from Bootleg Stardust)
Jim Morrison said to his best mate Babe Hill (Roadie) day before he went to Paris 1971, I am going to fake my own death, I will make sure nobody will find me and be found. Fame is a crock, power is a crock, who the hell wants that? Freedom man, freedom, enough money just to be, yourself. No acting, no image, just be. Getting up when you like and doing what you like, dress how you like. If you have somebody who loves and supports you and doesn't want a piece of you? That's probably as good as it gets man. - Mickey Alvarez. (Jim Morrison) Ron Clooney talks about his latest novel, Mr Mojo Risin (ain't dead) ruclips.net/video/W8q0ZjBErB0/видео.html
Thank you for this- clueless that the eternal story was even mentioned by Dante.

Michael Turner's Hardcore Logo / David Mitchell's Utopia Avenue / Scott Pilgrim too!
This is a joke, but I am also making a point: so somebody writes a play, Romeo and Juliet, and it includes murder, arguments over what?, a way overdone feud, and 2 suicides over fear and extreme emotion, and that is supposed to be romantic, entertaining, and interesting? I do not think so. I wrote 3 books, and maybe they will not be nearly as well known as the above mentioned play because not enough people died in my books. Regards, Hollie Jean Huff
Honey, Elizabethan culture and humor four hundred years ago is very different than today.
I would love to know about Romeo
I really love this song and it's perfect for your voice, Glenn.
Happy Birthday Jim ♡
What a sad thing...
Yeah, epitaph is in ancient Greek & the word ΔΑΙΜΟΝΑ means roughly 'spirit'. Before the invention of Christianity there were no 'demons' as we know them today. 😃
100th comment- she wishes to be left alone. The real Juliet
This is fantastic!!
Guys i dont know this is a real story or just shakes made it tell me please is romeo amd juliet love story is real or not
real
so did she kill herself for the love of her Romeo ?
What is the song playing over the video?
Someone should create a fund to put a grave stone that celebrates morrison's life
Wait- she was born in 1284 but died in 1302... So she was actually around EIGHTEEN when she died, not thirteen-fourteen, as Shakespeare wrote. Damn, why the HECK did he put THAT in there then? Were Elizabethan Men really so...
Where is that statue though?
All the statues in the video are in Pere Lachaise cemetery in Paris.
@@GlennDixonAuthor I think he meant, where's the statue of Jim?
@@mackychloe there isn't any there, one time his grave was adorned by a marble bust, but after a few years was vandalized & then removed.
I believe it was stolen
WHY SHE KILLED HERSELF THOUGH?
I really liked his singing. What a shame, to find out where and how he died. Now 50 years later. Hard to believe 50 has gone by, pretty fast in some respects. SAD
Wow, oh My!! So sad. It's been 50 years. Still glad I watched this. 😪😟
I myself am torn between his death and conspiracy... I do believe that he is dead, but I've always been curious about the way that he died. The fact that his death was kept a secret for so many days after he died, and the fact that his manager and the few who went to the burial didn't even want to look inside of the closed casket... It makes me wonder, Did he really die from "heart failure/ heroin overdose" in his bathtub? Did he really die from a heroin overdose in the bar and then taken to his apartment after his death? Did Pam have something to do with it? Or was there more secrets to Jim's life and was it all a coverup? The world will never know and it will really boggle the mind when a person thinks about it to hard.
Bill Siddons (the manager) then was in his early 20s, he himself confesses he hasn't the psychical strength to inspect the body. He of course regrets & said if he knew it would rise so many quetions & theories he for certain would see the body. Jim for him was a friend, kinda 'big brother' or 'father' figure. For me the description of burrial ceremony is the thing that makes me sad. 7 minutes long w/6 people attending it, it was really brief. The fact that some years his grave was just a pile of dirt also doesn't makes me happy. But I believe after someone has died he really doesn't care how & where his body is burried, doesn't care at all.
Graves a bit small .. Jim was put in a casket.. It don't look big enough
Bonitos comentarios !!!! Congratulations !!!!!... Muy triste !!
👁️💛
just finished the book and absolutely loved it! was so so excited to find out afterwards that the songs were actually recorded; so cool!
Thanks April. All the songs (it's all the chapter titles) are up on spotify and youtube and where ever you listen to music. It was a blast to record them (with the help of some fantastic musicians and some fantastic recording studios - including the very real Abbey Road studios in London).
This is the only thing about death I relish to meet you freind read poetry a joint a bite to eat and a bottle best. R I P
dont exist an romeo, she only want to be alone
Jim Morrison was Murdered , at some point in time the truth will be told , he was killed , assassinated , sending a message to his father who was an Admiral in the United States Navy, In 1967, in one article in the British paper, , it is unofficially reported by some that Morrison vehemently opposed the US response to, and findings of, the USS incident (when Israeli fighter planes and torpedo boats attacked an American ship, killing 34 and wounding 171 crew) which exonerated Israel of malice. Morrison did not rise in rank again after his outspoken criticism of Israeli intentions.
Actually he died in the niteclub toilet after a Heroin overdose. Not so romantic is it.
Did he though 🤔 proof ?
No one will ever know. They did not perform an autopsy. One can only guess. R.I.P. Jim.🦎
That's literally the dumbest fallacy ever perpetuated. Everyone one in the room is now dumber for having to read this.
Who gis a shit how he died it's how he lived and his buitifull work that what matters will it be romantic when you die. Do you give a shit
A friend of mine was one of the first people to be informed of Jim's death. He always maintained that the facts just didnt add up. He explained it and told me in detail just where and why he didnt like the official explanation. It took quite a bit of time to absorb what he was telling me and we must have spent a good few hours discussing it over a curry one evening. I'd recommend anybody who is interested to have a look at 'Clive Selwood talking about the death of Jim Morrison' as I can vouch for the fact that Clive was a very lovely and grounded man, and a major player in the record industry of 60s..not prone to exaggeration or sensationalism and knew and worked closely with Jim and The Doors. I'd be interested to know what people make of his recollections..Clive also said of his old friend, that Jim was a very gentle and polite man during his visits to the UK and didnt recognise the man portrayed by Val Kilmer in the Oliver Stone movie..though he conceded he could have had moments like that when he was back in the USA.
Currently reading through this and near the end. Very good book! The way you take us through the city of Verona is just a big reminder how special the story of Romeo and Juliet is... Truly a story to last throughout the ages!
THANK YOU GLEN. And our lovely, "ghost" narrator. I majored in art history so seeing the architecture and the prince's tomb made me desire to add Verona to my Italian- if I win a lottery- around the world in 80 days adventure! What a inspired way to present a woman I thought was fiction. You just sold another copy! Namaste, Z
