What a great lesson!!! So far John has proven without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus is the Son of God and is God. These witnesses all testified to the fact that Jesus is the Messiah. They didn't have anything to gain. They spoke the truth. Jesus is God and He came as a man to die for us. Like Pastor Rob said ,"He would rather die than to be apart from us." What an amazing God. This was a powerful lesson! I realized that the disciples didn't really listen to Jesus when He told them what He could do and what He would do. We do the same thing when we read His word; He is speaking to us, but we don't believe that He is who He says He is. If we did, our lives would be different. The religious leaders knew that God does not hear a sinner's prayer, but they allowed the devil to blind them. I pray these lessons will bring us closer to our Savior so that He can remove the blinders from our eyes and the cotton from our ears. Amen!

They wanted to KILL LAZARUS! The Devil is NUTS. He lost his mind trying to start a WAR in Heaven. Trying to fight GOD? 🤷🏾‍♂️ Common sense? When they arrested Jesus He said His name and they all fell BACKWARDS. They got up and arrested Him anyway! It's funny but it's not when you see people under the influence of Satan.

Great discussion... As far as sickness and sin. Yes, we get sick BECAUSE OF SIN. We were never supposed to know what sickness was nor death. We were born with the ability to get sick BECAUSE OF SIN. Jesus came down here to FIX all of that. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 Now we can get into things which the result will hasten our demise with sickness like bad diet, drug abuse, or choosing not to exercise. Yes God may heal us despite those choices. We feel better and go BACK to those choices. MERCY as Sister Julie says. Proverbs 26:11 New Living Translation 11 As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his foolishness.

Well Pastor, I think Jesus turning water to wine at Cana was a fulfilling prophecy of Amos of the coming Messiah no? Amos 9:13-14 “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. His 1st recorded miracle did respect his Mom and help avoid that young couples parents embarrassment yet just like that specific parayalized man He healed it was a sign the Jesus was THE CHRIST.

Thank you Pastor Rob. As always you asked some thought provoking questions. Once again you bought it all together. I am really looking forward to the next lesson as I learn more about the scriptures. What an amazing God we serve. When you said that He thought of everything, I said, what love He has for us. He didn't need to be baptized! He did it thinking of those who may not be able to do it like the thief on the cross. That is LOVE, amazing LOVE!!! Thank you for allowing God to use you in such a mighty way!!

Saul was trying to pursue God on HIS terms rather than God's terms. The only thing God wanted from Saul was genuine repentance. Saul would not surrender himself to God. He didn't want a relationship with God; he wanted God to make the problems HE created go away!

The Law is key and it is the foundation of His government. The Law will protect us if we keep it but we want to do things our way. All He wants to do is save us. What an amazing God. What amazing love.The best is that He already kept the law for us. We just have to accept His sacrifice and allow the Holy Spirit to work in us an "attitude of obedience." Worship Him and do as He says do! Great lesson. God bless.
