found by Glitchy//, route idea by Radu if done very fast, likely with a faster setup, it is faster then doing the same freezeout clip 2 times using trio drill isn't required to have all 3 brothers clip into the wall, but no setup to clip then consistently has been found as of me writing this 28/08/2024

please don't do this to yourself, yeah this run isn't optimized but it's so fucking boring. a good run would probably be a 4:10, maybe a bit lower ... any% is way funnier.

multiple deaths in castle, 1 extra manip in bathhouse cause the hands kept escaping, terrible floors in striptease, shadow teddie was slow but not too much of a pain, 2 failed manips in quest, mitsuo was exemplary, naoto was perfect, very lucky with random hands, but had 1 fuckup which ended up killing the run, good heaven, floors in magatsu were garbage and tokyo tower countered, went to previ...

That's an impressive run of about 7 hours without a break! I would like to ask you about the megido manip part, what kind of operation do you do after you do the save reset? Is it the following operation? Turn the turbo on and go around to the left. You go to the save point and wait there for about 1 second. When you get out of there, you go to the velvet room by moving diagonally, is that correct? I just tried this and it is especially difficult to go around to the left, I can't do it at all. How are you doing this overall? An explanation, including the omoikane part, would be helpful.
How do I get the true ending
When you trio Drill, can't you just turn around and let all of them respawn oob already?

32:48 Its actually much better to tap left until luigi moves closer to the wall for more consistant results
it is indeed an option, you have to tap left around 7 times, but since by that point you have already failed / succeeded the hardest part of the trick, both methods have a similar consistency.

why did your version of persona 4 golden has a really big and small shadow but mine just small?
cause you were probably at a higher level then enemy shadows most of the time but when you're underleveled, the shadows become bigger
What does doing this on Boss Yo-kai like Eyeclone, Gutsy Bones, and Kabuking do? I'm curious... Also, does this work in PS?
from memory, eyeclone blocks you outside of the battle, gutsy bones puts you back inside the fight start cutscene, and kabuking just puts you outside the battle as if nothing happened. the only boss that you can skip with it according to current knowlege is kin and gin in the fight with nathaniel. andd yes, it does work in ps, they didn't even patch it in ykw3

Why do you change FPS before each golden hand fight?
Probably to manipulate the probability of more than one golden hand spawn.
At lower fps it's alot easier to dodge golden hands or just shadows in general so usually it's 30 for dungeons, and then 60 for everything else

congrats on ranking first! i'm an hour in and i'm super impressed with the run so far. you even had me super worried on some parts like soloing on kanji's dungeon and boss but you absolutely breezed through 😭😭 btw what does closing and re opening the game does?
if you always do the same inputs after opening the game, you'll always get the same output, luck included. based on that, we re open the game to manipulate a luck based event, like getting the golden hands encounters for extra exp or skills like brave blade earlier.
fyi do not do this on dame demona and then save, it permanently softlocks you out of beating the game (though idk about the rematch)
