My Maltese had a liver shunt in 2013. He was recently diagnosed with MLO cancer on his skull. He is having a CT scan tomorrow 9/9/2024. Please pray that they can get it all out during surgery if the CT shows it hasn't spread.

Poor little fish

I had this happen to my Ryukin gold fish. It was literally upside down. According to RUclips videos, it was bloated. I couldn't find myself performing surgery. I recall giving my kids camomile tea when they were bloated as babies. I had my fish 3 years and it's huge. He was dieing on me. I used 2 tea bags a cup of tea. Added to a gallon of water. Kept the fish in there for about 20 min. Put him in his tank watched him for about 20 min. It was working he flipped right side up. I put him another 10 min in tea water. Back into tank . He's been good ever since. I drink camomile tea when I get gassy. It don't hurt to try when you've run out of options. For me that was my only option.

In my experience , they never recovered , and again adquire the disease . So i preffer sacrifice the goldfish . The X ray are too dangerous for the human health . Don't do that.

My Goldfish was exactly like this. I put my goldfish in a hospital tank with a filter and oxygen then I don't feed the fish for 2.5 to 3 days. On the 3rd day, I feed the fish with green peas let it rest, and recover for a day and it should be good as new.

I did it. I removed almost 10cc air from fish. stomach almost collapsed. but in 1 hour she started to normal swim but in 2 hours she recover back same upside dow positon. how can she produce this much air? what should I do?

i think my goldfish might have this but it looks like its fins are rotting also. his hair fades straight up sometimes and he isn’t swimming well so we won’t feed him for 2 days to see if it helps
