Atsushi Hayashi is one of the founders of NishikigoiNFT, a digital community in the Yamakoshi area of Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan. It sounds like he thinks a tech venture is equipped to be an impact VC after it succeeds, and I don't know why that would be the case. Perhaps a better plan is to sell a lot of out-of-the-money options to a trustworthy impact VC firm, so that if the company becomes very valuable, the options would be exercised and the trustworthy VC would get veto power over the investee's decisions. Either way, in order to dilute or buy out the greedy VC, they'd need money that they can't use then to fund other ventures so that surely makes it less regenerative.

@Jeff. I want to thank you, Izak, Alex and the other team members for including me on this project! This was the beginning of my computer career! My SoFla server was so fun to operate! You’ve made a big contribution to this technology and proud to be a very small part in it! Here was the projects’ introduction to the world. Unfortunately the quality is pretty bad, recording it with a camcorder. I was asked to be part of this clip but due to my employment with Worldcom, I didn’t want my face or name to be used, other than “SpAcenut. (Worldcom was processing hundreds of thousands of calls a minute to my single call every 5 minutes, I figured I would have been fired.)
