I was 7 years old at the time of this game and a Bears fan. But I was so amazed by the 49ers in this game that now 30 years later, I am a hardcore 49ers fan and it all started with this very game. It shows the play my opinion started to change, when the Bears were getting beat up so much and Young got whacked by Eric Gaile in the endzone and then the team lost all its composure. I went on to cheer for the 49ers in the next two games and from the next season on.

I still hate and wish nothing but bad for the Packers for what they did to McMahon.

My first year as a Giants fan was in 1985 and I still get chills thinking about that division game against Bears. That was a truly great team.

First game I had ever been to, and it's Bears at the Packers, Lambeau, 44 degrees and cloudy, and up to my right I can see Summerall and Madden. Only bad thing is that NO game, not even a Super Bowl, can eclipse that memory or what it felt like to be there.

Last game for the bears with numbers on the side of their jerseys. And pretty much the beginning of the end of Brian Urlacher. It was also the end of an awful 7 weeks for the Bears.
