Engelbert Humperdinck - Am I That Easy To Forget / Love Story
For my late husband, I still love you! ❤
To bad it never turned.out for us.
I may still love him but he's gone and I'm moving on, it's all over now!
And, are you over your ex yet? And how many years ago was that? Don't judge me in any way if you don't want the truth.
This song has harmonies on par with Elvis and The Jordanaires.
A great song 🎵 that I listened to when I was young
I still prefer Dusty Springfield singing this song
I'm 85 and if you do the math, I was 17 when this song came out but where I lived at the time I was 18 when it was popular. It sure brings back some great memories. I should have married that girl. My best friend at the time had a '51 Ford and we used to double date. Graduated high school in 1957. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.
I was 16 when this song hit the charts. I met a young lady in March, 1957 and we started going together. This was our song. We were married 59 years. Although she's gone now, this song brings back fond memories.
I remember dating a Girl who said She didn't like this Song and from that Moment I knew We didn't have a Future
rust in pieces cilla
78 years young. Grade 6 winter in Winnipeg 1957, dreaming of young love. "A thing of beauty is joy forever, its loveliness increases; It will never pass into nothingness but still will keep". -John Keats...Endymion. Pretty much sums it up.
NOOOO, ONE COULD EVER FEEL YOUR SHOES, NOOOO NOT ONE SOUL. EMMMM, YESSSS IT'S ABSOLUTELY 💯 THE WHOLE TRUTH. MY LOVING BABE, WOWWW, MY BABE, IT'S ABSOLUTELY ALL ABOUT U.
Love this 🙂♥️
a true southern gentleman
Only beatles song cover that’s better than the original
We'd sing this song on the band bus when going from home to our performance or ball game where we would perform at half-time.
I'm 52 and my mom and dad took me to this concert when i was little in Red Deer, Alberta at the Capri Center. I still remember this song from that night. I love his voice :)
who's here from The Devil of All TIme
Pan konferansjer bez zarzutu nam to streszczał, I słuchaliśmy, piękne dzieci strasznych mieszczan, I większość pań w słowiańskich oczach miała łzy Co za piosenka - `Dimanche à Orly..." ;)
12 years old persuing my 1st girlfriend...
Still to listen in 2024.
So sad, only just read, she not with us.😢😢😢❤❤
Miss you Joe, will see you there
Gilbert c'est trop beau !!! 😢
You've never heard this song until you hear it sung in a Japanese nightclub. They sang it in english but the accent was in odd places.
Reminds me of being in my nans house when I was 4
REST IN PARADISE mom and dad. Their wedding song 66. Dad joined mom again yesterday. My heart aches
Watching in 2024. Always loved this song. Just watched a Netflix movie that it featured in.
Simple arrangement, great production.
Love this and the 62' version
Beautiful song
what a beautiful song
Recordar es vivir. 😭
Sonny James wrote this song about my mom, they dated my grandpa ran him off with a shotgun... he was from Alabama, my mom always missed him and I met him once, he held my chin and said your pretty like your mama and he bought me an ice cream cone.
The lyrics were written by a woman named Carole Joyner……and the music by Whaley Carter. the original recording is by Whaley’s band.
L❤VE the female version of this song esp it's Petula Clark singing!...
One of the best sounds I've ever heard albeit short-
REAL SWEET
These types of songs always make me cringe. Remember going to a school dance and boy's and girl's were always on opposite sides of the gymnasium? Nobody was brave enough to start the dancing because of the confirmation that you liked someone of opposite gender.
Can’t get enough of this song. I’m 78 now. Sonny recorded it a year before he married his only love.
Sorry Cilla but Dusty nails this song.
Wow, l love it! Great stuff, keep it up 🐒🌷👍
Agreed, this song is epic. Wanna be friends??😂❤😅
@@been6617Okay. Let’s be friends 🥰🐸🌷🦦
Talented singer in the sixties era along with the beatles and Other groups creating a new pop scene! The toys version was better!
❤❤❤
Old country music had soul❤
We danced to this song at a Cleveland South High sock hop in 1957. 64 years later we still hold each other tightly and relive all the wonderful years that have passed.
This takes me back to Butlin's Pwllheli in 1962. The waitresses in the dining halls would sing it as they waited for the holiday-makers to arrive. One of Pat's best.
