Soviet Jew here from Moscow...Shto is "what" in Russian also...from my experience most of the Slavic languages are similar in certain root words or at least similar enough that I can understand what Bosnian, Serbian and Bulgarian friends say when they speak. The main idea not word for word. Do you guys understand when Russian or Ukrainian or Bulgarian is spoken?
Hello. I can understand Bulgarians quite well. Ukrainians and Russians on the other hand...maybe like 30%?
Sound very similar to Russian, only the different alphabet
That's right
Mirzo brate odakle si?
No. Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian and Montenegrian are the only ones that are mutually intelligible.in rhe real sense of that word. Bulgarian and Macedonian are very close and highly mutually intelligible, but not as much as these four languages. Slovenian is not highly intelligible with any other South Slavic language, but there is some partial intelligibility between Slovenian and "Serbo-Croatian".
Beč😂😂😂
i thought Luka is the most famous in Croatia
Serbs also speak inekavian, snd some ikavian. Tho ijekavian and elavian are both considered standard. Comparing alway Belgrade to A Zagreb is funny, simce dialects follow neither communist borders, nor religious divisions, nor how people declare, also neither of Orthodox or Catholic population will call their language as Bosnian, also Muslims amd Catholic in Serbia that speak ekavian often do not call it Serbian
😶 al avion nije hrvatska rič Neeeeeeee, nemoj mi reć 🤣😅😭 Zrakoplov?
Sólo son dialectos 😭
It is wrong to say "Croatia proper", that is just NW Croatia: subregions Zagorje, Prigorje, Međimurje, Moslavina, Turopolje, Podravina...
برافو عليك
???

Croatian but in Bosnian it’s the same (Serbian I think also)
Dobro pričaš srpski

Very interesting, I am Italian and I didn't know that Croatian has so many loanwords from Italian. I also didn't know that the first bank was founded in Italy 😁

hvala moj prijatelj. Quick question, when pronouncing prijatelj is it a ly sound or just a y?
Why are you gay?
Hvala vam 🌺🌷🌸
I ja sam Hrvat😀 for the english people... This is correct🎉🎉 Nastavi raditi ovakve videe❤
Why are you gay?
Very simple. Chakavian = the only real Croatian language. Shtokavian = Serbian. Spoken by catholic Serbs in todays croatia. Kajkavian = A dialect of Slovenian or something morphed into it's own language.

Its Not Croatian is Bosnian Language Croats original language is Zagorja
Yes, people were asking me about the two and I mention it is more common in Bosnia rather than in Croatia.
ruclips.net/video/r2-dlz_qJNs/видео.htmlfeature=shared First video is out with 29 speeches 😉. Second, third and fourth are underway with examples from Croatian sound atlas (Hrvatski zvučni atlas) with 42 speeches 😉✌️👍
I didn't understand number 3, do you mean there is no political stability?
Yes.
In Bulgarian we only have C and Č as sounds. Before 1945 we used to have Ć as чь letters but like in Slovene the soft Ć is lost (except in loan words, while Bulgarian entirely lost it). And most of these words are pretty similar to Bulgarian: цар (car) it means the English tsar or king. But king is more likely крал (kral). Emperor is more likely император (imperator) toothpick is клечка за зъби (klečka za zăbi), which literally translates as little stick for teeth. And what is interesting that often soft Ć in Bulgarian is replaced with Щ (Št), К (K) or sometimes hard Ч (Č). And just like Ж (Ž) and Ш (Š) they are always pronounced hard. Same with дж (dž).
Pin?
What about in bosnia/ bosniak slang? Is is bona/bolan?
