Not understanding why ZZ Top is backed by country musicians, but they've toured here in Nashville before. ZZ Top is not country but Texas blues rock. They've been playing since 1970. Around 1968-69 Gibbons was playing in a band called "Moving Sidewalks". Gibbons toured with his guitar mentor James Marshall (Jimi) Hendrix. Gibbons and Hendix's murials are on the side of the Musician's Hall Of Fame building in Nashville.
It was a show called CMT Crossroads. Country acts would perform with a group from another genre that inspired them. Brooks and Dunn is definitely inspired by ZZ Top.
Getting tired of seeing goofy kix brooks stinking up the zztop show.
Come 😮
Come 😮
ZZ Top with Chuck Norris! Now how cool is that?!
Chuck Norris is NOT IN THE VIDEO
Google search Who is the drummer for ZZ TOP OR BROOKS AND DUNN AND HIS PICTURE WITH NAME WILL COME UP
💜F.
This is the best version of this song. You need all these guitars on stage to get that layered sound. All ZZ Top performances are great but you can’t do this with two guitars only.
Those extra guitars allowed Billy to play that intro like the studio version. To my knowledge, the only time he's ever done that.
AWESOME MUSIC VIDEO CLIP GREATEST BAND EVER YEEEEEEEEHHHAAAAAA THANKYOU KINDLY FOR YOUR GREAT SHOW ON RUclips CHANNEL VIA VIDEO CHAT 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾MY BROTHER IS A FANTASTIC PERFORMER ⭐⭐⭐⭐👈😃

Great Performance ! Rick Beard is simply Awesome/ I LOVE this song and drumming in it
Isn’t the drummer Frank Beard?
it's Frank Beard 🙂
You ever notice his name is Rick Beard and hes literally the only one in ZZ Top with no beard?...
RIP Dusty. You was a great inspiration
You know that dusty is the only best bass player ever known
hes good but not the best lol , you have paul mccartney , john entwistle , flea , geddy lee to name a few!
John Paul Jones
@@OnlyBelters_ then why does zz top have so many hit songs because of dusty.
@@weylinnecaise3964 that doesnt mean hes the best dude
@@OnlyBelters_ then look up why zz top had so many hit songs you'll see what I'm talking about.
Nobody could play base guitar like Dusty
So awesome hearing this song how it is on the record!
Watch how Ronnie is Johnny Cash-level cool in this performance. That "Aw, shucks" wave at 0:19. Kix is groovin', and that's great, but Ronnie's just on the sideline smiling. He knows this is ZZ Top's song, and he's just supporting them. Man, this is as great a show as when I first saw it.
Thanks for everything, Dusty! Best memories ever!
Heard of Dusty passing and my mind flashed back to this performance. The whole show. Premiere episode of the "Crossroads" series on CMT, and both duos fit together like they were hand in glove. "Gimme All Your Lovin'" was the perfect song to end the show on. Thank goodness I found it here for the memories.
@Raymond Carver sorry. I remembered it was the first one.
Rest in peace Dusty Hill legends never die.
Had to come and do some ZZ Top watching for Dusty.......vaya con Dios......
Heard the word of Dusty Hill passing today and I cried hard! These guys influenced my life in many ways...that's all I have to say right now! RIP my friend!
RIP Dusty.
@@SuperPineboy Definitely
I cried harder!! Just kiddin'!! (But I did cry my eyes out.) He was a great musician!! R.I.P. Mr. Hill!!
R.I.P.Dusty my man!!!!!!!!!!
This is the Spirit of USA.
Best drummer..
I see guys pounding the hell out of their drums like they're gonna have a stroke, and Frank's so laid-back he could be sleeping. But he's on form and doesn't miss a beat. That's old-school, right there.
