Well, I ended up rolling with Recreational Revolution stuff. Got the Rec Rev: Facade, TA-1A, Octave 3 and the new Anthony Rojas Edition Freq.Wav. Ironically the ta-1a feels like an iron stable catalyst! I know the new smaller catalyst is coming but I couldn't wait. Time for you too create some tutorials man! The yoyo community needs you in south central los angeles.... a new small yoyo crew is being built!

Hmm... really depends on what you're looking for man. If you're looking for just great stability and long spin times, try the One Drop Code 1, or any 44 Recreation or Turning Point Yoyo. Super G is good too. :)

Hola amigo, It's Miss You by Trentemøller. I don't have a name for the trick but it is a grind I made up in '04 followed by the shoulder trick from '08.

0:47 is the most impressive trick i've seen in a while. its too dope man. Would you now recommend any other yoyo over the Catalyst. My budget is $84.00 I have the Rec Rev TA-1A and the only thing that I hate about it is it doesnt spin quite as long.... decent but not long. If it were about 69-70g in stead of 66 it would probably have more momentum on a throw. Any suggestions? I think I want the Catalyst but what would you recommend at this point?

I almost always switch out to a Center Trac. I've been trying to get YoyoFactory to ship it stock that way, because the play of the yoyo is SO much better with the Center Trac in there. :)

hey augie, do you just use the stock bearing the catalyst comes with or do you switch it out with a different one (i.e: center trac, ten ball, konkave)?

Two of the biggest factors in stability are size and rim weight. Typically, undersized yoyos are less stable than full-size yoyos. However, if you're looking specifically for a stable, undersized yo-yo, I think the Boss is one of the most stable undersized yoyos on the market.

is the boss a stable yo-yo? because i don't like it when a yo-yo starts to tilt in every single trick that i do like my crappy 888x

I like the Catalyst a lot better. Longer spins on the Catalyst and the Yuuksta plays too light for me. If you're for an undersized yo-yo, I like the Boss and DV888 more than the Yuuksta. Yuuksta looks super rad and has great colorways, but I don't think it plays as well as some of the others. :)
