I'm finally understanding this car. Crushed my record set last year by 2 seconds. I used plenty of handbraking but the app bugged out because of different patch version, so it doesn't appear on DK pedals sadly. I'm not sure I can do much better than this, this time really is alien enough as it is for mouse. If I could pull off a perfect run and carry more momentum through the high speed corners...

I hat- highly dislike this car xD It's so weird and tedious to drive, the suspension don't allow you to slide in a normal manner, the car just understeer until you give it too much gas and the turbo lag kicks in and then you end up on the cliff side. The thing won't even turn unless you do weightshifting or use engine braking. Have I mentioned the gears? God they're awful, you're forced to take...

After doing the supra tuned i went to the stock kunos ae86 and it was a turn off... Slow, understeery and unable to produce a powerover, then i discovered the weight transfer and it was so fun, i will try changing tires tho

How'd you make your brake kick in slowly? I use mouse steering and mine straight up goes to a 100% brake and I lock up
you dont need to use the brakes as much in stock 86 because its hard to build up speed, especially on this track
Damn, how the hell do you make it look so effortless ? I always spin, understeer or crash somehow else when Driving, the cleanest run I EVER got on ANY track was that I only scraped along the barrier a bit
Yo! Thanks for the compliment! I would hardly call it effortless though 😆 The thing about racing is of course understanding the car's capabilities and characteristics so you can get consistent control and get used to the way it handles. Next step would be to effectively apply that control, learning racing lines, when to brake, when to coast, when to throttle and how much to steer etc. Driving works best when all elements work together and becomes significantly easier when you have a more profound understanding of it.
