@@gaudiestivy4297 there are no similarities, its earned its place as a new galaxy map theme tune that's actually enjoyable to listen to, just like uncharted worlds is.

Right but killers have lightborn (which counters everything you listed) which guarantees the blind will be prevented while survivors have nothing in-game that will do the same.

I do agree that they should tweak things to maybe make the flash not as bright or have settings or something. I mean, it doesn't really matter what your screen looks like/how bright or dull the blind is, so long as the base mechanic of you just not being able see anything for a second or three is maintained. But that aside... Yeah, Survivors can be entitled brats at times. Especially bully squads. Getting their rocks off to harassing people who are just trying to have a fun time playing killer- then when the tables turn a little bit. "Owie, my eyes hurt, please nerf this perk that makes me suffer in the way I have made countless killer players suffer, because I don't deserve to be the one who gets inconvenienced! The devs are babying killers!" That said, those are, in truth, a minority. A vocal, toxic, and annoying minority, but a minority nonetheless. Most DBD players are actually pretty chill, and the game, overall, is pretty cool.

I’m the person (or hypocrite, if you prefer) in the video who said no more blinding or stunning for me. I don’t mind blinding killers because lightborn is a thing. The devs gave an accessibility option for killers and it’s the responsibility of light sensitive people to use it. Which I do. I always run lightborn so I don’t have to worry about getting blinded. I assume other light sensitive killers are doing the same thing. If they aren’t, then that’s on them for not using the in-game counter to blinds. I know some people say it isn’t fair to have to give up a perk slot to counter blinds but at this moment that’s the only way to guarantee you don’t get blinded. The reason I’m raising awareness is I don’t have that option as survivor. That’s not me being an entitled survivor. It’s not me going oh I’m a victim now boohoo. It’s me complaining that the devs didn’t provide the survivors with an equivalent to lightborn. That’s what the video is about. The video is asking the devs to either make a perk similar to lightborn for survivors or to make a light sensitive mode so people don’t have to worry about blinds. If wanting survivors to have an accessibility option (which killers already have) makes me entitled then so be it. As far as the bully squad comment goes, I don’t bully killers and that’s a wild assumption to make based on a few comments in the video. Not every survivor who uses items/perks to blind the killer is a bully. I didn’t ask them to nerf two can play. The perk is fine as is. I asked for the devs to consider players that have light sensitivity issues and give them a counter to the perk. Asking for a counter to a perk isn’t the same as nerfing the perk.

Ah yes, the necessity of dedicating one of your four perk slots to just to counter something that you may or may not even encounter in a match in the first place. Lightborn is NOT an accessibility feature. If an 'accessibility feature' makes the game harder, or takes away some potential fun to be had, than were you to not use it, it is not an accessibility feature. What WOULD be a good accessibility feature, as I've said in my own reply, is, again, simply changing the blindness effect. It doesn't matter what it looks like, so long as the base mechanic of 'not being able to see at all for a few seconds' is maintained, having an option to make the effect black instead of white, would be an accessibility feature. Oh, and newer killers don't even have immediate access to the perk on all killers. They need to prestige Hillbilly to even unlock it. If an 'accessibility feature' needs to be unlocked, it is NOT an accessibility feature. And here you are, blaming the PLAYERS for not running the perk. It's not that either of us disagree that there should be accessibility settings. I just don't like your attitude of 'oh, lightborn exists, so that's good enough'.

I do agree that lightborn isn’t an accessibility feature so I shouldn’t have used that word there. And I didn’t say y’all disagreed. I was just pointing out why I wasn’t entitled or playing the victim card like you and op tried to say. I focused more on the survivor side of things because they don’t have a guaranteed way to avoid blinds. Two can play has counter play but it doesn’t guarantee you won’t get blinded by the perk. Killers at least have lightborn. I don’t think it’s fair you have to get hillbilly to prestige 1 to unlock it on all killers and give up a perk slot for it. That being said, it is something you can do to help yourself since the devs haven’t added a light sensitive accessibility feature yet. In my opinion, it’s your responsibility to look out for yourself where the devs won’t in gaming. I would love for the devs to have an accessibility feature for it but it’s been years of having blinds in the game and it’s never once crossed their minds. They needed people to point out the orange glyph was causing motion sickness before they changed it. They just added the colorblind modes like 3 years ago and it wasn’t even added because the community was asking for it. It was added because a dev made some careless comments about adding a colorblind mode that received backlash from outside of the community. They just added it to save face. So while I would love (and am hoping for) an accessibility feature, the reality is it might not be the counter to two can play we get. The devs might have the same approach to this accessibility feature as they did colorblind mode. Which is that its not a high priority for them. Hence why I mentioned a survivor perk similar to lightborn as another option. It’ll have the same problems as lightborn but at least it’ll be something. My attitude about being fine with lightborn is knowing how the devs responded to the community asking for colorblind mode and seeing how the community responded when other people with light sensitivity mentioned it. This issue has been talked about before within the community (pre two can play) and killers who complained got told oh run lightborn or just avoid the blinds or to not play the game. I’m not fine with lightborn because I want to be, I’m fine with lightborn because I feel like have to be due to the reasons above.

My report was resolved in less than 24 hours, just like my last one. My ticket, which included this video, was in an effort to get PSN to ban the person that contacted me post-match. That's between PSN and BHVR. I'm done with the matter.

Yep. EAC is just a very poorly implemented Anti-Cheat. It’s been known to have lots of hackers, even in VR games like Rec Room and VRChat and can be easily exploited, hacked into, and even worse, can affect the way you play the game while they are in there with you. Something needs to happen about the Anti-Cheat cause it is not very good.
