Diamonds On The Street is about using art to celebrate the good stuff that come out of overcoming adversity.

This project shines the spotlight on intangible matters that seek our attention everyday -- like love, loss, joy, sorrow, hope and well ... life. Through life's adversities, the people featured here discovered their humanity and came face to face with their weaknesses. They also discovered the strength within them to overcome their challenges. We call these ordinary individuals diamonds because they were put into high-temperature, high-pressure conditions of life for a period of time. Exactly the way diamonds are made just before carbon starts to shine.

It is not an easy feat for them to step out into the open and share their stories, because of the painful nature of old wounds being opened. However, life is not a solo pursuit for these individuals. Through their stories, they hope to lend a helping hand to others who are diamonds in the making.
