Matt Cameron was a groove machine. Still is, but he was more energetic and aggressive back then due to being full of youthful enthusiasm and attitude.

Chris was a very kind and humane person - met him once in Seattle and we talked for about 20 minutes about random stuff - he called me a goofball because I was goofing off - but I have heard tell he was also quite a goofball as well. He just seemed to be overly mellow at the time we met, but still very intelligent and kind. I had him sign a Soundgarden shirt I just happened to be wearing at the time - but my then girlfriend stole it from me just before she broke up with me the next year. Oh well - I hope that shirt is still kicking around somewhere out there . Chris - RIP - and thanks for that 20 minutes of time that you had a drink with me and talked to me without the typical attitude of a snobby rock star.

The last live show I saw was in 2015 and they were amazing. Mick has been undervalued since the band's start. I really hope he's doing ok. This band, like all the other really great ones, really require all of their members to function properly. That is a collective energy. I discovered Todd Rundgren by accident when I was listening to some music. He is a true legend of Rock. Also, he produced many famous albums by these famous bands: New York Dolls, Grand Funk Railroad, XTC, Meat Loaf, Badfinger and The Sparks, just to name few. If you want a true Todd Rundgren, in my opinion you should listen to these albums: Something/Anything, A Wizard, a True Star, Initiation, Todd, Runt, Healing, Utopia, Adventures in Utopia, Oops! Wrong Planet, Ra, Live at Chicago Theater, The Individualist, a True Star Live. HE IS THE REAL DEAL, REAL MUSICIAN, AND HE RULES!!!

If there was a richter scale for vocals, Layne's would be off the scale!
