Coole Dokumentation. 👍🏽Ich bin Jurassic Park Fan der ersten Stunde. Ich habe die komplette erste Serie, darunter auch originalverpackte Figuren . Aber die werde ich niemals verkaufen, weil das schöne Kindheitserinnerungen sind.

This and the TLW line are probably my favorite toy lines ever. Being a kid in the 90s and looking at the toy aisles full of JP stuff was such a magical experience. They were cool toys through and through. My very first JP article was the Iguanodon & Plesiosaurus die-cast figures. The die-cast collection was so beautiful. I have them all. And as for the mainline, my first human and dinosaur were Ellie Sattler and the Dino Strike Velociraptor.

Nothing beats the original Kenner line. The quality was just so much better than what we get today. Wish they would do another line with Dino skin.

Damn this was such a nostalgia trip. Definitely was my 2nd biggest toyline as a kid next to Transformers. Had all the series 1 humans except Tim, the basic raptor and dilo, and the Christmas of '94 was one of the best of my life when I got the copter, compound and t-rex. Still have the t-rex with his damn bent tail on my shelf today, though he's missing an arm.

I think me and my brother had all the 1st series Dinosaurs apart from the Triceratops and all the 1st series figures. Great memories and your reference to the Carnegie Dinosaurs was also a blast from the past as we had a few of them too. Thanks for unlocking some old memories.

My parents didn't have enough money to take me to the cinema. I had to wait until Jurrasic Park finally came out on VHS. While the film was showing in the cinema, a friend in the street had seen the film and was given the young T Rex by his parents (he had no brothers or sisters). I was jealous and thought that thing was the most beautiful toy ever. After saving for a while, I was able to buy first the Dimetrodon and a little later the Dilophosaurus (the squirter). The cool thing was that every figure could do something and looked cool. I was disappointed that when I finally got around to seeing the movie, I didn't see any Dimetrodon. Strange that they included that animal in the toy line. It's not even a dinosaur 😂

I think I was about 10 years old when the movie & toys came out. Compared to earlier movies & toys the JP stuff was on another level. The first series Kenner did are still the best, series 2 they were already dropping the ball in my opinion and after that no dino toy ever came close again to this day. The Kenner stuff had a certain look and feel to it.

3:30 - Rather misleading to use this AI-generated image of a fake board meeting and fake toy prototypes. I still have most of the original JP toyline, including all the figures, all the dinos that appeared in the movie, two Explorers and the Jeep. I had the Visitor Center playset but I had to get rid of it due to lack of space after a move. However, I did hold on to the iconic gate and fence.

In the early 2000s, when ebay started to be a thing in Germany, my mom found an entire stash of Jurassic Park and TLW toys for 30€. It had around 50 pieces, raptors, the huge red T-Rex, Dilophosaurus, the bendable Ceolophysis etc. I have to move out soon and no idea what to do with these. I wish I could keep them, but I guess it's time to say goodbye after all. They're not in their original packages anymore and some are "used", so idk if they are still worth anything. Especially when figurines like the young T-rex don't have the removable skin patch anymore. I'd love to give these to a fellow fan, but as I said I'm from Germany so I'm not sure where to offer them :/

I really love your video. I’m 36, just turned in May and this hit me in the heart and memory’s. My mother made it her mission to get me as many of those JP toys as possible for Christmas. I had the Compound Center, it was used to hold the nice dinosaurs in my bedroom, and the gates and compound center would lead into the hallways where the T. rex and “wild” Dino’s were kept lol I had the Triceratops and I chewed the tail a bit because it was rubbery and squishy, there was neighbor kid who also had one and as we were playing they got mixed up. He took mine, I cried and tried telling my dad because the tail had a bite mark but he dismissed it as me trying to be dramatic. It was a rough moment for everyone lol I also had the Stegosaurus but unfortunately it’s tail was bent to it’s right side. It was the last on the shelf and my mom tried her best to bend it back in place but was unsuccessful and I remember her telling me recently that she always felt bad cause she’d see me playing with it and trying to fix the tail, but she said I looked happy. I was happy, I had no idea why it’s tail was bent, I always looked passed it. I can’t remember what happened to them over time but I’m sure growing up they were sold off in garage sales etc. I recently got the new John Hammond Brachiosaurus and it is a dream come true. I’m so happy to finally have one. As you stated, the Brachiosaurus hatchling was the only one we’d get. I only wish I could go back in time and let my younger self have it. Life is strange lately and this video made me look back at my life at happier times. Thank you 🦕 🦖

This was a fantastic video. You took me back to my childhood with all these JP toys, I had a few of them, the dilophosaurus that squirted water, the velociraptor that made noise when pulled the legs back (which I always thought it was the baby raptor that Dr Grant held in his hands in the movie), and the t-rex book. A friend of mine had the Red Rex. From the Lost World I had the Humvee Dino catcher and the Parasaurlophus. I’m heartbroken that I lost all of them over the years but I hope I can buy them again on ebay or something. Thank you for making this video!

Still have my Electronic Dilophosaurus and Velociraptor. In my opinion I think they are better than the toys JW they are making today (even though JW have more articulation than the Kenner ones). They broke JW toys into a lot of parts for mobility and sacrificed the good looks.
