I remember taping this on audio cassette and the tape chewed it up but im remember junior maths did a similar version i used to video basic maths on a Monday and watch in the evening it would be interesting if they played the central ident to cover up zoom 2 how it would have been on the 9.47 wednesday repeat hence it wasnt a live process or it was re badged as central

I was born in 1972 so at school 1977 I suppose… got to see many a TV show on one of those huge TVs with the “blinds” on the top and sides, but don’t recall ever listening to radio shows like this live or on tape in class. Sad as even listening to it now, it makes my imagination fire up and I can see the “man on the motorbike” in my mind. Just what kids today miss out on I think. Regards

Never ever remember these.I was 19 years old on the dole that year and many years around that year and usually didnt get up till midday a couple of times not till 3 in the afternoon.I only remember the closing tune,nice tune aswell.

Right, who remembers THIS? 😃 I certainly do, and watching this REALLY takes me right back! I can remember watching this when I was in junior school. Even now, as soon as that music starts playing, I can still remember this so clearly. I can still see, with my eyes closed, in my mind, the grey carpet and white walls of the 'TV room', all of us pupils squeezed in there, sitting cross legged on the floor and this 👇 being played on the large, boxy TV in front of us. That, to me, is a great memory for me. ☺

I never got to see this Look and Read. The ones I remember were Geordie Racer, Through the Dragon's Eye, Earth Warp, Spy Watch and Badger Girl. I wish I'd seen this one, some of these songs are great! The 'Why Don't you build yourself a word' one is a classic!

I remember watching Finding Out when I was at primary school. The episodes that we watched were about life in various European countries. I remember seeing programmes about Denmark, Italy and Portugal, so I probably saw that very episode. Pity they haven't got the whole programme on RUclips like they have with some old TV shows.
