Nice vid for folks that haven’t set these up before. I’ve been needing to do this, which is pretty easy, but I don’t get enough rain! I need to pump water uphill about 40’ and about 100’ away from the creek, fill the barrels AND directly discharge creek water into the garden. I’m sure I’ll want a dedicated pump for both, preferable Sump pumps that I don’t need to prime or cool the pump. This is pretty close but I think I have higher water needs than your setup would provide… maybe not tho… I just can’t afford to buy parts that don’t fit

Just turn the speed up. I watch most things at 1.25x, sometimes 1.5x but streamers learn to talk so fast that 1x is fast enough some slow talkers 2x isn’t hard but with this video he’s showing and describing, it’s kind of a instructional so watching it fast may mean watching it twice

Nice pump setup. Question, when you added water to prime the pump was this a one time thing? Or do you have to add water every 5 uses or so? I want to buy the same pump. Thanks

Here's a tip - Put a pantyhose on the end of the hose coming from your gutter before it enters the tank - to pick up small dirt and leaves. It helps keep your tank clean.

Have you tried attaching watering wand attachments to a hose and using that to garden? I want to do that for my set up but am worried about blowing the motor with the restricted flow
