The BodCon
Добавлен 20 дек 2022
After witnessing the incredible conversations taking place in the social space around body confidence, Founders of Shine Talent Group, Jess Hunichen and Emily Ward wanted to build a platform that would help amplify these voices and allow this community to share in an experience that would bring people together and help further the impact of this movement.
The BodCon now includes a weekly podcast and mini events throughout the year leading up to our annual conference. Through these initiatives we bring our network together and delve deeper into topics that surround the body confidence journey.
The BodCon launched in February 2021 as a virtual conference series centered around all things body confidence, body positivity and self love. Our aim is simple: We want people to feel worthy in their bodies.
As featured in: Forbes, PopSugar, Yahoo!, Global News, E!, Notable Life, Cheddar and more.

Oy vey, why would you give this lying scam artist a platform to further her lies? The con is real with this one!
Love you Natalie! ❤
This is so beautiful. As a plus sized teen, this makes me feel so seen and so supported. All sizes are beautiful. Natalie is so gorgeous and I'm so happy she spoke out about this. This is literally so amazing. 💞💞
We need one in Plaza Bonita SD CA I'd be in there with my pretzel 😂
There U Go Girl⭐
Asians be sooooooo fatphobic 🙄 If your weight doesn’t threaten your health, you are perfect just the way you are ❤❤️🩹
The girl who wears the headset and sits on the couch ( I didn't catch her name). The way she sits while wearing the bight yellow lingeries is ditracting to me😊😊I can't help thinking how compromising her posture was with her leg is up on the couch, spreading her 2 legs away from one another
Thank you for this reminder. I did something like this when I went through my divorce 10 years ago. Here I am suddenly going through a breakup I did not see coming. I know I can be alone because I have done it before but I didn't think I would have to. But, like you said "I get to". There are a few things I have been putting off doing for myself and I am going to go enjoy them. I hope you continue to do the same!
She was the star of the show. She was the most relatable, she stood up to the bullies and that voice. She is beautiful and her smile can light up a room. ❤
Do bravissimo use traditional tape measure or find size through trying different bras or looking at the band size etc. ?
I love you sm i love your style of ice skating ur so good at it cjase you dream dont guve up
My son called me fat when he was 6/ in kindergarten, and I just laughed. He said it multiple times and he was trying to hurt my feelings, and I knew it was because he was hearing this somewhere, which made me so sad, but I didn’t tell him I knew this. I just taught him that words don’t have to make us feel bad. He could call me fat and ugly, and he did many times, but I wouldn’t have any emotional reaction except pretend laugh/ sarcasm like: “oh you know I’m so fat and ugly” and laughed. He’s almost 12 now and calls me beautiful. Kids say things they hear, and then they try using them to trusted grown ups to see what type of reaction they should have to them. It’s our purpose to guide these sweet babies of ours!

I've never seen a fat sprinter at a track meet....EVER.
I’m an overweight Olympic weightlifter and I am one of the fastest sprinters at my CrossFit gym. Not the fastest long distance runner, the pace I ran my last marathon at was actually really slow, like 12 minute miles, but my SPRINT pace is so insanely fast because of my explosiveness I built through weightlifting. And I’m 5’2, 195 lbs 😉
@@jennaalden3658 Cool story bro.
I understand what you’re saying and you’re not wrong… but it’s not entirely accurate either 🫶🏻 don’t come for me for being honest lol but I can’t run fast because I’m fat. It’s unfortunate but true. When I was thin I could. Due to health issues and complications I’ve gained a second “me” and now putting on socks is challenging. I didn’t eat my way into this lifestyle nor was I lazy from an athletic perspective, but regardless it’s where I’m at. I’m trying to navigate this current body and see if I can get back to a healthier version of myself, but I don’t think what you said is entirely truthful and should still allow space for both to hold true: no you don’t have to be thin to run fast/ do other activities, but in most cases it helps. Focusing on health as well as the practice you mentioned is the ideal combo to run fast or do most things. Just offering another route that includes the truth you held but also the truth you (maybe not purposely but still) excluded 🙃
I like your explanation. You're right, simply being fat isn't always the reason, but is often absolutely a factor. I also hate that many people think fat automatically means ugly. It doesn't. This woman, who admitted to us all that she is fat, is very pretty.
She said run “fast” overweight people are unlikely to be able to run fast, without losing weight
I didn't want to be fat either.
❤
Wow!!! ❤
Love this message ❤
Brilliant work Mama. Sometimes our grown up brains can't see through grown-upness.
Love
You know what? I started off in this video thinking she's all sorts of wrong. But let the video end and...wow. She's actually one of the best moms.
being thin does not mean you can run fast, but it sure does help.
indeed, it does not help when you are fat.
SOOO GOOD!!! <3
Great analogy
💜💜💜 love
Young woman… 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 You’ve perfectly illuminated many many layers of stellar parenting and you made this old woman cry bittersweet tears of memory….❤ How many times, out of the blue, we answer to our children on such levels, hmmm… The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.
Thank you for everything you've done

Best BodCon Ever!!
i'm not sure why everybody's getting all the panties in a bunch and getting uptight about it, when you meet your wife and or husband and you are attracted to them in a certain way that they look that is not means that because they love you they need to still be attracted to you when you're 50 pounds heavier when you are 100 pounds heavier when you're 200 pounds heavier and that goes for both sexes so let's get them panties out of our cramped vaginas and butt cracks and be honest about reality people have a right to be attracted to whom ever they like whatever body type it is thick or slim and your husband does not need to love you or be attracted to you if you got four times decides that you were and neither do you need to love or be attracted to your husband when he does because if you would've seen his 400 pound self when your first met you would've looked right over him and vice versa so Dan with a banging of the table and the dramatics of ignorance folk you got and does not need to like it you got fat and your woman doesn't need to lose weight or shut up or move out one of those but don't say you have no right to not like the way I look because I gained 100 pounds you don't have a right to say that

So relatable!!!! Just now getting my bod back in shape 17 months in and weaning 🤦🏽♀️😂 I bet he has made her “single parent” with another parent in the home too ! Expecting everything to be the same as before and her too keep up with everything. 🤦🏽♀️
