    I've been meaning to thank you for your video on the modular track. I picked some up on eBay like you said. I’m currently waiting for both the 14301 and the 14303 to arrive. 01 for me and 03 for my son. 😁 The plan is to use the 14301 as a project platform for teaching my kids how everything works as they’ve started to show a lot of interest in the technical and mechanical stuff. For starters, we’re swapping the transmitter/receiver to a DumboRC and the esc to a Hobbywing 10BL60 to (hopefully) eliminate the input lag and overall quirkiness of the stock esc/reciever. Have to remember, these are not high end, but they can be upgraded to handle pretty good. Shocks play a part too, stiffen up the rear more than the front to keep grip to the front, if the rear of the car drops when accelerating, the front of the car becomes lighter, with them being AWD the front wheels. Will tend to slip a bit more, if one front wheel slips. more than the other could. be making it turn slightly.... Great find. I can hear from your video that you let go of the steering wheel every time you go from turning to straight. Turn to not let go of the wheel and turn it back to straight with your hand movements. It will be difficult at first. The reason is because when you let go, the remote wheel vibrates. That then translates to the actual car wheels vibrating. However only really important if you are racing and are concerned about lap times. Keep up the good work.

    • @Doeswhatitsays-cc1ce
      @Doeswhatitsays-cc1ce 2 месяца назад

      hi mate, if your running it at them. speeds then any slight adjustment will matter. I don't know what model you have but have you tryed adjusting the rear wheels? if there out then could be where your problem is. You may have a bearing which is on the way out. could possibly be worth removing all your bearings and leaving them in oil over night. I would personally strip it down, re oil the diffs and soak the bearings in oil as a process of elimination. If none of that works then something may be over tightened. Lift the car and accelerate lightly, see if all the wheels stop at the same time, if one corner seems slightly quicker to stop then investigate that wheel. Set the front tow slightly inwards. Another thing you can try is, change your front diff oil to lighter oil and stiffen up the rear. suspension, this will keep your front wheels down a bit more BECAUSE if one wheel is lifting at the front will tend to drift one direction under acceleration so keeping it planted may help. just off the top of my head, and without being there, I hope this helps out. Be good to hear results when you get it solved. Good luck buddy. 🤞👊

    Very good advice about how to handle the screws and not to mix them up. I had that issue when I opened up my Maverick Strada XB. I had no idea that there were three or four different types of screws... Lesson learned now.

      Hi mate, I got mine from banggood, but they only have the ldarc van and the Turbo Racing red or black camero type car. plenty of them around though, bit expensive on amazon. Good luck and glad you enjoyed the video. really is a good track to use and plenty on ebay for cheap.

    Well looks like you just found me another favorite, my new favorite to order and build me a all around track to add to my man cave play room, only to keep adding parts until cant no more, little predestrians walking across, sitting around, little rv trailers all around, little tables and people children different vehicles all around, i hope they have many different vehicles to get to add .....

      yeah I've tryed that, I have new battery's on the way for the anki cars, so I can race the anki cars for more than a minute lol. I had 3 going round at once, they are pretty fast to be honest and takes some good driving to beat them.

      @@luvadealme yeah, long as you can solder. 150mah lipo with no connector. plenty on ebay. The original is only 100mah so the 150 fits and will give you more runtime. bit fiddly to do as you need the needle point on ya soldering iron and be careful not to touch anything else. If you can solder it's easy to do. 👊

    Is the original ankidrive track significantly different from the anki track pieces when it comes to driving these little cars?

    • @Doeswhatitsays-cc1ce
      @Doeswhatitsays-cc1ce 2 месяца назад

      There's not a massive difference that I've noticed. The ankidrive is a softer roll at, the overdrive is like a harder shiner vinyl surface. Out of the two I prefer the overdrive track. Not that there is anything wrong with the mat.

    hello sir, been watching your video couple of times now, just got my own MJX 14303 & some silicone lube which is 3000cst & 6000cst(is it okay though?)..can u advise which lube should i use the one the front and back?

    • @Doeswhatitsays-cc1ce
      @Doeswhatitsays-cc1ce 2 месяца назад

      Heya mate, it's all a rough starting guide, so you can change the oils to what works best for your model. So lower in the rear and higher in the front. 3000 rear and 6000 front. it all affects the handling, so if it corners and wheels spin at the front then change the oil on your next maintenance the heavier at the front. it's all trial and error untill you get it how you like and part of the fun 👊

    Subscribed, I was about to make this exact video, however, all I have to do is post yours!!! One thing I would have replacement parts on hand just in case. I had to change my rear Spur gear, there were metal shaving in the case and the die cast spur gear was the Culprit, I exchanged it for a stainless steel one. AWESOME Video!! Subscribed for life!!
