I have 19 out of 75 in my alliance have taken part. If you're not in a top alliance that has spenders in it it's not worth the effort. Why bother grinding for ages to get 750pts, you don't get event currency so it's just not worth it. You're looking at your store thinking these things are great, but most alliances are not high enough to have a fully unlocked store.

I think the continued lack of currency per task still puts people off especially if the feel they won't promote to get more store currency. Also still a fair few pay events only really, maybe they need to add more available to choose from task wise so its easier to find a task you want to do.

At what Tier does that shard pull for the refit show up?

I really do appreciate the way you "think out loud." Its much more explanatory than rushing through like other RUclipsrs!

To play The devil's advocate larger players cherry pick the easy stuff to knock it out while smaller players have nothing left to do. Smaller players get aggravated and decide to do nothing

Really dumb question, Is there a place where I can auto grind 3* interceptor parts? I understand I can get BS in faction space and EX in Augment. Just looking for a place I can park a ship overnight and grind out some INT mats.

If you're a player that isn't active on social media and just plays the game, you wouldn't even know Alliance Tournaments were active. This issue continues to persists and exists for Arenas and War Room as well. If there's no SMS events, players aren't seeing them. People aren't going to just go to the Alliance tab to see that those events are active. There's no in-game cues that these events are going and your average player doesn't check the Alliance tab for anything other than making alliance contributions. It isn't even that people don't see the value in the tasks, THEY LITERALLY DON'T KNOW THERE'S AN EVENT!!

Its like pulling teeth on server 184 EU server about 50 out of 75 people within my allaince are doing it everyday some i feel sorry for the ones carrying the team I'd personally kick inactice players they are the same people that get raided during incursion they are not team players if anythings they are a liability

I went with Janeway, and I didn't regret it.

My conjecture is that, while the lower level tasks are often easy to accomplish. Many of them take a grind to do for little to no reward. So if you take that and add it to the fact that the big tasks give such a big reward, it makes sense why people dont want to participate. It is another extra grind that just feels frustrating to do because the rewards you get are only at the end. Also most players really dont know the ins and outs of the game, nor do they care to take time to figure them out. So why would they take time tabbing back and forth to try and figure out if they can even complete a given task.

Do your ships have to be in your base? Before you can put up your shields.

Ours has been broken and is still broken from day 1... no timers, no LB's, no counters, etc... even the counter for number of done events is broken and changes upon multiple clicks... there is also no refreshing... not to mention the huge lag... have tried to submit tkt's, but the bot throws you out... guessing too many ppl trying to submit tkts

There is no reason for the lower lvl players like myself to run these since you only are given store currency for the bigger/higher level missions. Can run one or two, get in the board and just take the payout from the end. Zero reason to complete them all until they pay out for the lower level grindy missions.

Why don't you get store credits unless you're buying something?

My alliance is killing it and we are kind of meh , the reality though our server is a 39 is the top one and like half or more of the list we cant do. We have rerolled the board a lot and we are winning our bracket but its been really hard for some of our players to participate , they simply cant find a mission they can even do. Thats with us running armadas for people.

I grabbed E-Picard as soon as I picked up the token. Didn't even look hard at others. It will tier up that officer for me.

Question: I'm F2P lvl 37. Does doing freebooters on sunday contribute to "Threat from beyond" SMS and help to get Khan and Mara shards, then transporter patterns? I do swarms and it takes some time, but for me it is very useful since I get transporter patterns on sunday and speed-ups every day. I got all other officers but Jaylah. FYI, I got tier 1 E-Picard and Janeway, so it would not help me tier them up; besides, I have not gotten any good results with E-Picard & crew on any ship, plus I struggle with Janeway & crew in Voyager hitting Hirogen more than one level above myself. I think I must be doing things wrong...

I don't mean to be rude. I'm on level 14. I bought the JELLYFISH. I also have Pike, Moreau, and Chen. I put them on the bridge. Like you said is best. I got my ships power, to level 66,909. I'm able to destroy hostiles at level 30. I can get . I get prints for the ENVOY,KEHRA and VAHKLAS.I also get (3 parts). I've been camping on level 14 a long time . Staying on level 14 is correct. Like you said. You give a lot of good advice. Thanks.

How did you feel about the legionary from this playthrough ? I am getting close to the faction ships , everyone says Sally , but i want to skip it and i want to get cloaking for daily , can i limp to the ent in the 30s with that legionary , im currently OP 23 going to 24 , i have a maxed tier 9 Northstar that is a few more days of auto grinding from 45. I Am building other ships but im not tiering them up past 4.

I got FC Janeway in last Arc event store, maxed her Q trials abilities, put her into FC chair... ...and didn't notice any significant difference in Q trials. What a waste of rss 🙈

my f2p account is ops20 and my first plan is to get all common g3 ships but minimum investment and may skip the kumari since my plan is the legion after that il plan next step 26 to ops30 tho not going ops30+ till i get pike for PMC/PMT also i have gone rom and klingon and once respected go to tygokor and farm fed rep by then i should have a strong ship

pretty much you need all buildings or most lv45 thats my plan on my main im ops42 and skipping lv42 faction ships going for the pilum and my protector can carry me voyager another good alternative or the g3 epic tho limited warp range 3 good options from ops40 to 46 not saying dont get the lv42 ship just saves more mats this way the new archive building vidar section will help alot may be small amount of credit and rep but every bit adds up and whats the lat conversion bps cost per bp on all g4 ships would be a cool vid to see

i agree you can skip the lv42 faction ship voyager can carry you till you get the protector which can help alot if not a pvper since im a non pvper i can go down the route of get voyager at ops34 that can carry you to ops40 where you grind the gorn eviscerator and the protector granted the protector is a long grind to obtain it this is more a f2p way on my f2p account i have the north star and ops20 so can work on it now once im ops26 will get the faction ship since im rom and klingon il get the legion for ability tho wont mind a d3 then that if you are just doing pve and mining next ship is the borg cube f2p is all about saving your mats for research and buildings after the cube its the voyager for me thats my f2p plan then a protector can take you to ops46 and you only need max of wr200 for g4 systems

it took me close to a year to max my vidar and get my talios im using my vidar it was 500k cargo cap at t8 now t9 it has 682k so will be using my vidar till i get talios to t3 only got 400k inerts with the talios but will try the talios when im nearly ready for a tier up

in my experience the protector can be a great ship for combat and skip the lv42 ship you only need a protector to t4 with a t5 warp part and has and the say valdore needs at least t8 with t9 warp part for g4 faction space and the protector does not require ship parts and you only need it to take you to the rare g4 faction ship and saves you alot of mats in the process which can be used on research and build and scrap the mayflower or centurion for parts to the protector later on it will be based on your rare g4 say pilum for example build and scrap the sally and g3 rare and so on thats my advice of my experience vidar is great for that once as high as you can

This is a fail. I won't spend hours in PVPs to get a ship that I don't need. The only benefit could be a refinery, but getting 1 FC Lorca shard and then maybe getting Temporal Disruptors faster, gain materials for 2 ISO researches and gain few shards of officers, that would take years to max and that would be replaced by stronger versions of them in the time. No, thx Scopely, I'll skip that 😉

Glad I caught up, didn't get to see this last night. It's an interesting discussion. I've chosen Talios path for all the Fleet Commander loot as well as officers and loot boosts for the refinery to get Rep and Credits
