The intro alone was intriguing. That alarm clock though. I remember my grandmother had a loud ass clock like that in her bedroom. I wondered how she could fall asleep listening to it literally ticking her life away.

I prefer the old black and white movies like the Twilight Zone and even western in black and white of sceneries during the gold rush 😅 😂 the way the people talking back then .

Kinda funny what used to be acceptable behavior. At 9:50 the guy slaps the lady as though it were the logical thing to do, and then a minute later she says "I guess I owe you an apology". LOL. Typical 1950's sci-fi - lame acting, lame plot, lame effects, and silly "robuts". Still worth a few laughs though.

I thought this movie, "Earth versus the flying saucers", was in black and white only. Are the old movies being colorized now, at last, like the famous " It's a wonderful life" (1946) that was colorized back in 1989. I purchased many years ago a DVD set that contained the original version, a remasterized (restored) b/w version and the colorized version. It would be great that such systematic work would already be on its way, since the first silent movies, or at least the first with sound, with that computer technology that can associate shades of gray with specific color hues. It makes the image so much more vibrant and bright.

It's hard to believe, back in the day, the audience totally tolerated and was comfortable sitting through a long boring intro slide slow of credits. That would never fly today. Never. If you can't hold their attention in the first 3 seconds, they are clicking off... In fact, according to my analytics, most peoples attention span is 30 seconds or less.

This film was originally black and white. So I'm assuming that this version is colorized. Not great.

Did anyone use the subtitles? They were pretty weird. They said to keep firing at the sausage.😂. Love these movies!
